The police officer inched towards seohyun who was slumped against Renjun with his firm grip on her.

"Sir, with your permission we have to take miss park to the station"

His voice was careful not to speak harshly towards his superior. Even more at this sensitive time. Renjun glanced at the officer with a single glare only. It was inevitable he knew, but he knew she wasn't in any condition to defend herself.

"I'll send her lawyer, she stays with me"

Renjun told making the officer bite his tongue knowing he was clearly going against the rules yet still following them in a twisted way.

"Sir, the whole staff witnessesd her. It's an attempt of murder. Without any solid proof we can't let her go"

Hearing his voice Renjun snapped throwing him a glare making him take a step back. Seohyun pushed herself off him standing on her feet. Quivering hands tucking one side of her hair behind her ears.

"I'll come with you"

She extended her wrist towards the officer who held the hand cuffs waiting to cuff her. Renjun took the cuffs before it could reach her wrists.

"We'll meet you at the station Mr choi"

He announced pulling the girl towards him making her get out of the office where everyone was creating chaos. Sitting in his car she took a breath of relief.
Renjun noticed the blood which was coming out of the fresh wound on her neck suddenly alerted he pushed her hair back taking a clearer look.

"Hyun, you got hurt"

The pain and hurt in his voice make her chuckle dryly as he hurried to get the first aid kit in his car cleaning the cut making her hiss in pain. Seeing her hurt felt like someone trampled upon his heart, a knife being twisted in his chest.

"I stood up against him Renjun, I— I finally-"

Stumbling upon her words she couldn't form any sentence. It was the proud feeling of speaking up to him after so many years, or maybe plunging the knife through his hand which made her feel warm from inside.

"I am so proud of you hyun, you are the strongest person I know"

Renjun whispered to her in a low voice as he carefully patched up her cut leaving small kisses on her neck which made her shiver. Seeing him being all cozy with her made her day even better.
With a small peck on her lips he looked at her with pure love in his eyes.

"Your love consumes me hyun"

His words made her flutter, cheeks turning red as butterflies swarmed in her belly. Raising her hand to tangle her fingers in his black hair which had grown longer making him look mature, more handsome.

"You're my only reason to live, so keep on loving me. I want you to fall for me to the point where you want to destroy the world for me"

Hearing her words a chuckle left his lips. The same words she had said were the words of Renjun 5 years ago. Back when they hadn't developed anything more than attraction. Yet he told her his inner desire in anger, it was almost a taunt at that time.
But seohyun meant it, ever word that left her lips. Lucky for her he did love her to the point it physically hurt him.
She was the one who buried him deeply, she was the ocean he drowned in and never wanted to breath Air again.
As she inched closer to him a curse left his mouth. Making her smile.

"You're ruining me"

He muttered inhaling sharply to say he was taken back by her actions was an understatement.
