After they all managed to get the injured back to Viktor's lab, they worked together on hooking them up with a machine he had that would slowly clear the toxins from their bloodstream, hopefully curing them.

It was a horrible procedure, and Elvira had never done anything like it during her years in Zaun. They had to cut open the skull of the person, before attaching the device directly to the brain, as well as cords going into their bloodstream from the neck, wrist, and groin.

After hooking the last person up to the device, Elvira let out a loud sigh as she pulled the rubber gloves off her hands and threw them onto the table, the blood smearing onto the wooden surface. "Well done," Viktor said after he finished as well.

"I need to go home and take a shower. I need to scrub away at least half an inch of shit from my skin," Elvira said as she walked out of the lab, Viktor following after her. "I would like for you to come by my lab tomorrow, I need to speak with you regarding this whole situation," she added.

"Tomorrow? Why not today?" he asked. "Like I said, half an inch."

"Fine. I shall see you tomorrow then," Viktor bowed his head slightly, showing his gratitude for her help with the victims. She nodded back at him before she walked out of his lab and made her way back to her own place.

The walk back to her place was quick, and Elvira soon found herself standing in her bathroom, looking into the mirror.

She exhaled loudly as she untied her hair from the braid her hair had been in and tried to rake her fingers through it to peel apart the strands of hair that were glued together by mud and blood. After picking apart the worst lumps of shit, she peeled off her clothes, which were just as bloody and dirty as her hair, if not worse.

She stepped into the old rusty shower and hummed as she felt the warm water against her skin. Nothing felt better than washing off a day of hard work. The bottom of the shower turned a nasty brown color before it ran clear. Elvir grabbed her sponge and started scrubbing at her skin. She scrubbed until her skin felt raw and irritated, and clean.

As she stepped out of the shower and wrapped herself in a towel, she hear Ash walk into the house. She dried her hair before getting dressed, and she then walked out to meet Ash.

"Nice shower?" he asked her as he leaned against the counter with his arms crossed. "It was. And I can tell by the mud on my floors and the smell that you have not had a shower yet," she said while fanning the stench away from her.

Ash was making his way towards the shower when Elvira cleared her throat, causing him to stop and turn her way. "Yes, your majesty?" he teased her. "Shut up," she rolled her eyes. "I was gonna ask a favor of you," she started, not getting his full attention.

"Would it be difficult for you to go to Piltover and speak with someone for me?" she asked. "Piltover? Who would you need me to speak with in Piltover?"

"A friend. Aya. I need you to give her a letter for me, and then, if she wants to, escort her here to me," Elvira then explained, earning herself a shocked look from Ash. "I thought you wanted to avoid your friends from Piltover?"

"Yes, initially I did. But considering Caitlyn has already seen me here, and now Viktor as well, I might as well contact my best friend and give her the opportunity to come to see me," Elvira explained. Ash crossed his arms across his chest again and thought over what Elvira was saying. "Fine. But am I allowed to shower first?" he asked, and Elvira nodded.

"Are you leaving after your shower?" she asked. "I was planning to, yes?" "Ok good. I will write my letter now then, so it'll be ready for you when you're done," she said before hurrying to her office, grabbing a paper and a pen before sitting down to write.

Dear Aya.

I am so sorry for leaving you all those years ago, but you must understand my situation. I will explain everything to you in much greater detail if you wish to come to Zaun for a meeting. Ash will walk you here, and escort you back home whenever you should wish to return.

I heard a lot has happened to you since I left, and I am so sorry to hear you and Estrid are no longer together. I know you two loved each other, and I'm sorry it didn't work out. Perhaps you could tell me more about it when you arrive?

I also heard you're working with Jayce now, which is great news! I hope he's not doing too badly either, but I don't think it would be wise for me to contact him the same way I'm contacting you now. Who knows, perhaps I will cross paths with him at one point too, but for now I'll take one step at a time.

I hope you'll consider my offer, but if you chose not to come here, I also have a great understanding of that too.

Love, Elvira Talis

She folded the letter before grabbing her wax, sealing the letter with her stamp. A sparrow. Shortly after, there was a knock on the door to her office, and she looked up to see Ash standing there, shirtless, with his wet hair dripping onto his shoulders.

"Show-off," she snorted before standing up, grabbing her letter. Ash walked over to her and tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear, before smirking at her. "I know you like it."

"The letter. I assume you know where to find her?" Elvira said as she pushed the letter against his chest. "Why would I know where she is?" he then asked. "I thought you were good at finding people?" she asked, a mocking tone to her voice.

"Yeah, in Zaun," he argued. "Well, it's easier to track down and find people in Piltover, you know. They're not as shady and secretive up there as they are down here. Besides, she works with Jayce Talis, so that should be enough for you to find her," Elvira explained.

"She works with your cousin?" he asked shocked, not remembering Elvira ever saying that about her old best friend. "Apparently she does. Anything else?" she asked him. "You're not even gonna give me a good luck kiss?" Ash teased her. "Or a good luck fuck?"

"Bring her here, and I'll consider your offer," she said as she raised one eyebrow at him. She did however walk over to him and gave him a passionate kiss. Ash dropped the letter to the ground before he raked his hands through Elvira's freshly washed hair, groping at the back of her head to deepen the kiss.

After a few minutes, Elvira pulled away and bent done to pick the letter back up, making sure her face was very close to Ash's crotch as she grabbed the letter. She took her time getting back up before she handed Ash the letter again. "Don't drop it this time, yeah?"

Ash grabbed the letter and left the house, leaving Elvira by herself. "You two are so nasty," someone spoke from the ceiling, and Elvira looked up to see Jinx sitting on a beam. "Why are you always on the ceiling?" Elvira asked as she grabbed some papers to write down what happened that day. "Old habit," Jinx said before jumping down, landing in front of Elvira's desk.

"Whatcha doing?" she asked looking down at the paper Elvira was writing on. "Filling out a report on what happened today," Elvira said without looking up from her notes. "Oh, the explosion?" Jinx asked while sitting down on the sofa, upside down.

"That wasn't me, by the way," she added. Elvira looked up from her notes, and over to Jinx. "And why did you feel the need to say that?" she asked. "Well, I've been causing a lot of havoc lately, and you look stressed about this one. So I just wanted to clarify," Jinx said, sounding proud to be innocent for once. "Aha, good for you."

"By the way, I'm expecting company soon, so please don't scare my guest away," Elvira said before throwing something over to Jinx. "Huh?" she said before sitting up and examining what Elvira had tossed her. "Woah!" she squealed when she saw what it was. "A new gun!" she excitedly jumped up and down, holding the gun high, examining the details. "It's a stun gun, so it won't kill anyone. Better you use that when you're bored than an actual gun."

"Hell yeah," she yelled before aiming the gun at the sofa. "If you fire that gun at my sofa, and damage the sofa in any way possible, I will murder you," Elvira deadpanned, and Jinx just snickered before she disappeared out the door.

It was already the beginning of the night, and Elvira assumed Ash would spend at least the night trying to track down Aya. So Elvira finished up writing her report before she walked to her room and went to sleep.
