Christina, Charles, Caleb, Cara and I decide to accompany Meredith with their experiment for Tris.

"Okay, I have one question." Meredith focuses her eyes on me. "How long would you all want Tris to be pumped by the machinery?"

"As long as it takes." I say immediately. "She has to live."

Everyone else nods.

"Okay then," She sighs. "Follow me."

They still haven't figured out a cure.

My mind starts to recall how few I only know about Meredith. She's my sister, I have to know more about her. We may have been separated for most of our lives, but she is my sister.

"Meredith," I place my hand behind my head awkwardly. "We need to know more about each other."

"Oh, um, well of course!" She responds.

"I'm 14, I lived here in Detroit forever actually, I-"

"-No, not that." I smirk. "I know all that already, I mean, more of you."
------
We ended up laughing for the rest of the day.

I actually feel like she's been my sister for the rest of my life.

"So I actually started being a soldier since I was 6, but I was being trained since I was 4."

"What? Then you must be great." My eyes widen.

"Well, lets just say, I'm alright." She starts to grin.

I grin back, she doesn't like to show off. I laugh.

"Hey, it's late already." She checks her watch. "Thanks for today, I'd love to have an older brother." She grins, but less natural, then walks away.

"Thanks to you too." I say, she looks back with a grin then continues walking.

I decide to sleep a little later and enjoy the stars above me.

I feel Tris watching me from above. My heart sinks.

"I love you." I say to the stars. "I really miss you too."

I shove my hands in my pockets, and walk back to the room.

I hope she'll live. I barely survived the two days without her.

I need her. I really do.
