"Hey did you hear? Apparently the third young master suddenly disappeared overnight!"

A maid, who's face were full of freckles spoke. As she started the topic, the other maids who were cleaning the hallways joined her. They then started the conversation, it was a hot topic to gossip about after all.

"The Duke has gone mad! He summoned all the knight orders into the Dutchy to search for the Young Master Adrian!"

"God, the mansion was in turmoil... This place was flipped upsidedown"

"What do you think happened to the third young master? He's never gone outside the manor without permission or noticing the Duke..."

"Do you think the young master has been kidnapped? "

One maid with red hair shared her speculation. The other maid who heard that reacted strongly.

"Impossible! Who would dare lay their hands on the son of the Duke?! They must be crazy! Besides, they wouldn't get past the castle walls, expert knights are guarding the wall after all... "

But a certain made stroked her chin as if pondering deeply about something.

" But you know the Duke has many enemies... It's not as impossible as you think"

While they were chattering, a maid, running on the hallways approached them.

She catched her breath the moment she arrived at the spot, then she exclaimed loudly making the others turn their full attention on her.

" Just in! Velle died just this morning! They say her face was unrecognizable but the maids who cleaned up the scene saw her wearing the necklace Velle was so proud of that she always wear even while bathing"

" What?! Why? "

" Really? Oh God, must be her karma. I honestly don't like her, she's always bossing us around and passing her cleaning duties to newbie maids"

At that news, the maids who hold grudges against her immediately voiced out their rants, now that the person is dead. They took pleasure that the sore thumb in their eyes is finally gone.

"Pfft. I know right? Velle always acted arrogant around us, serves her right."

" Hey should you guys be acting this way towards the dead? What if her ghost comes after you? "

" Nah. And besides I'm telling the truth. Some of us secretly hate her, you know her personality is a bit...well, she only acts politely and sucking up at the head maid. It's honestly so annoying..ugh! The head maid always places more tasks on us while she lessens Velle's duties! She's totally acting like a royalty just because she's favored a bit!"

" haha you're right. Velle is a b*tch, i know some of us hate her but i didn't think it would be this many. It's refreshing that we have the same opinion, we can now fully voice out our grudges hahaha"

At that cue, the maids then shared their own experiences with Velle, being the villain of their story. Malice filled the atmosphere.

But the maid who shared the news wasn't done with her report yet. There's still a particular piece of information that she had left behind as she was unable to continue because of the heat of the conversation about the maid who died, Velle.

"But you guys know what's more shocking?"

"What? Spill it already"

At her impatient grumbling, the maid continued.

"They say it was the young miss who killed Velle.."

"WHAT?! 'THAT' PERSON?!---hmpp"

" Shush tone down, you're too loud. We might get caught at this rate.."
