Walcher, the white robed man dashed out of the room immediately with Veto, his lackey behind his back.

Then, remembering something, Walcher abruptly halted his steps making Veto from behind trip on his feet.

"Ah, right. Let's bring 'that' as well. We need  that to control that bastard"

Veto, who quickly regained his balance followed suit as he willed. Taking a metal case out of the magic vault, Veto handed it over to Walcher.

They set off immediately after confirming they've sorted out everything they need. What's left to be done is deal with Lypus who  caused a ruckus earlier.

They did not now what exactly caused the monster to suddenly act like that so that's exactly what they're going to find out and deal with it accordingly.

'whoever dared to do this will be damned'

Walcher remarked, smirk forming on the corners of his lips.

Walking at a fast pace, they soon arrived at the location of the monster, Nightmare's Hearth Section A. The center and the intersection of all passages leading to secret facilities conducting the dirty work of the Dutchy.

"You're here, Sir Walcher"

The Knight Captain in charge of the pandemonium greeted the newly arrived Walcher with a dry expression. He didn't even pretend to see Veto who was beside him.

This irked Veto, albeit a little bit. But he was used to this treatment now as he was not much of an important person to send regards.

"What is the situation right now?"
Going down to the business, Walcher consulted the Knight Captain in charge.

"It has been a little quiet since earlier. We are investigating the cause of the uproar at the moment but if I were to guess the general situation, an unknown assailant attacked the guard monster. Considering the damage to the monster, they must've had a considerable amount of power. It would be best to stay beside me as the identity of the assailants hasn't been confirmed yet. That way, I can protect you by my side if anything happens"

" I understood."

Walcher obediently followed suit. In a nutshell, what the knight captain said were all true.

The Knight Captain, Walcher and his company watched as the dispatched knights moved here and there.

In particular, the knight captain plastered a complicated gaze as thoughts ravaged inside his mind.

"Muin"

The knight captain called out one of his minions. A knight in a silver armor moved forward following his superior's call.

"Sir."

"Have 8 knights patrol the perimeter to search for the unknown assailant.  Anyone who you deemed suspicious will be immediately arrested. Move in two groups."

Stern and dry demeanor, the knight captain accurately ordered the subordinate knight in response to the situation.  Muin, the knight in silver armor stood straight, swept in the Captain's domineering aura. It was apparent that the knight views the captain as someone respectable. So, upon receiving his orders, Muin could not help but quiver in excitement.

"At your order, Sir!"

The knight enthusiastically answered then after bowing at a certain degree, he returned to his company conveying the orders of their superior.

After a certain amount of time, the two groups formed by the orders of the knight captain dispatched to search the perimeters.

The knight captain overlook the whole situation with a dry gaze, but a subtle satisfied emotion could be seen deep within his deep blue eyes.
