The flight seemed like it was never going to end without the company of Luke; he always did make time go by. Finally landing; I went to baggage claim to retrieve my things and make my way outside to hail a cab. It was late luckily so there was no one really waiting in front of you and you could get a cab quickly. The driver got out and helped you with your things and you directed him to your address-yours and Luke's. You were tired and jetlagged and wanted nothing more than to get home into your bed and cuddle up with your husband- except he wouldn't be there. For the first time in awhile you would be without Luke. You hated this feeling.

You pulled out your phone and decided to send him a text

"Made it home okay. Miss you. <3"

By the time you arrived at your house Luke still hadn't replied, you assumed he was busy, it was to be expected, but you missed him so much. You sighed as you plugged your phone in and trudged to the shower. The warm water felt great on your skin; relaxing your stiffened muscles from your travels. The water also gave you time to think, the trip and wedding was magical but now that Luke was gone it all kind of seemed like a dream and you had this pit in your stomach like something bad was going to happen but you weren't sure what, it was probably separation anxiety, nothing to be worried about; you tried reassuring yourself.

You got out the shower and got dressed lying in your bed; it felt empty without Luke. You turned on the TV to have background noise and so you wouldn't feel as lonely but it didn't help. You got up and got Luke's cologne from the bathroom and sprayed it on the pillows on his side. You got back in bed and cuddled up against them. It wasn't him but it helped a little. You fell asleep quickly after that.

The next day you woke up after being asleep for 12 hours; the jetlag really hit you. You reached for your phone, still nothing from Luke. It had been over a day since he had been away from you and you were starting to worry a bit. Luke was a big boy and you wanted him to be happy and go out live his dreams. You went into the bedroom and began sorting and unpacking whilst watching episodes of your shows you had recorded while you were away.

An hour or so later you were nearly unpacked when your phone started ringing. You picked it up not recognizing a foreign number.

"Hello..?" You questioned nervously.

"Hey babe!" relief flooded you as you heard your husband's voice on the other end.

"Luke? Whose phone is this? I miss you."

"I miss you too- it's a new one I got for London our phone plan doesn't cover over here. Ill make sure to change it before tour though."

"Oh okay, so how is it?"

"It's great we for sure have the tour!"

You felt a pang of sadness. "When does it start?"

"Next month! I'll be home tomorrow though!" He sounded so happy.

"That's amazing Luke!!" You were trying to feel happy for him; I mean you loved him and this was his dream but part of you was sad because tour meant being separated for months at a time and girls throwing themselves at your husband's feet.

"I know! Well I have to go- were finishing up and finalizing everything! Ill see you tomorrow night baby girl. I love you!"

"I love yo-"click. He hung up on you...

You got into bed and spent the day crying and vegetating watching Netflix. You had no idea how you would get used to being without Luke; but you had too- for him. You wanted nothing more than for him to be happy.
