S5 Ch2- "Emotional" Talks

Hope's POV

Josie had left Penelope and I alone after our conversation. I looked at Penelope and she shrugged.

Pe: Maybe she started.

H: No, something else is going on.

Pe: What do you mean?

H: I know when she starts and she doesn't act like this so there's something else going on. I can feel it.

Pe: So what do we do?

H: I'll go talk to her.

Pe: Is it about the virgin stuff because if that's it then I think I should talk to her.

H: No her negative emotions happened way before that. I think it was me bringing up the whole breaking the bond thing.

Pe: Wouldn't she want to break the bond so that way she doesn't have to go with the side effects?

H: You'd think so but I'm not sure. I'll be back.

I got up and Lizzie came through the doors. She walks past me and Mg follows after her. Probably researching the bond. Penelope gets up and leaves the room. I go up to Josie's room and knocked even if the door is wide open. It's still polite.

J: You followed me.

H: I was worried.

J: When aren't you?

H: Nows not the time for jokes.

J: Sorry.

H: What's wrong?

J: Just everything with the bond.

H: There's more than just the bond.

J: Maybe.

H: You can tell me. I don't want you to think you have to hide from me.

J: Take a huge guess. I'm sure the bond is telling on me right now.

H: Is it about what Penelope said earlier?

Josie nods. I frown and take all of her homework and placed it on the nightstand next to her. I then sit down and take her hand.

H: You know I don't care about that.

J: I wanted to tell you on my own time. I just didn't know how.

H: I said I would always wait for you and I mean that. I'm okay with waiting.

J: I know but what about your wolf? It seems like I've been hurting it more often.

H: You think my wolf cares about that?

J: Yeah, does it not?

H: No, my wolf is apart of who I am. My wolf created the bond, it's not going to control if I'm upset about sex or not.

J: So everything is fine? Between us I mean.
