Hope's POV
I was waiting for Josie to ask her questions. I stood up and Josie jumped a little bit. I grabbed the keys and Josie seemed more scared than ever. I put my hands up and she raises an eyebrow.
H: I won't hurt you Jo. I don't think I could ever truly hurt you.
J: Wow that's real romantic.
H: I'm going to set you free and then you can ask all the questions you want or you can knock me out or try and run for the hills. It's up to you. Whatever you choose, I'll stay here. I won't even move a muscle, okay?
She slowly nods and I smile. I get closer to her and she headbutts me. I backed away and held my head. She's strong I'll give her that.
H: Seriously?
J: Stay away from me!
H: Fine stay cuffed up, I don't care.
J: That's why you were being so nice earlier, right? Because you totally don't care.
H: I was trying to be a decent person.
J: A decent person doesn't handcuff someone to a fucking bed!
I cross my arms and roll my eyes. She's starting to annoy me now. What happened to her questions?
J: Now, what are you?
H: A tribrid.
J: Be more specific.
H: It's a vampire, wolf and witch. 3 species in one I guess.
J: Wow that's a-
H: Lot, I know. Landon says it basically makes me a unicorn.
J: He seems like a smart man.
I smile and went back to my desk. Josie seems calm now but I don't think she'd let me get anywhere near her right now. I started to draw on a piece of paper and Josie cleared her throat. I ignored it at first until she kept doing it. I groaned and looked at her.
H: You'll make your throat raw by doing that.
J: Then pay attention to me for once.
H: I do pay attention to you, more than I'd like to admit but seriously what do you want?
J: A phone call.
H: To?
J: Lizzie, she has to know.
H: No, absolutely not.
J: Why not?
H: Wait until she gets her mental health back on track. It'd be better that way.
Everything went quiet and I went back to drawing. Josie banged her head up against my head board and I chuckled while she groaned in pain.
J: Stop laughing.
H: Stop hurting yourself.
I may not have my vampire side activated but thanks to my wolf senses, I smelled a faint sign of blood. I stood up and followed the scent and it led straight over to Josie. Did she really hit her head that hard. I looked Josie in the eyes and she seems fine, okay maybe not considering I just basically smelled her but that's besides the point.
H: Are you bleeding anywhere?
J: No?
H: Are you sure because there is a faint scent of blood.
J: I didn't think I hit my head that hard.
I uncuffed Josie and she stayed in one place. I thought she would leave or maybe even try to kill me. I took my hands and put them behind Josie's head; where she had hit her head. I took my hands away and didn't see any blood.
