S4 Ch16- Cruz and News

Hope's POV

It was the next morning. Penelope was sound asleep with her little snores. Josie was also sound asleep. I grab my phone and I see that Cruz needs to meet up with me. Josie stirs awake and looks up at me.

J: You need to go.

H: How did you know?

J: The look on your face and you saw me wake up. You made it pretty obvious.

H: I'll make it up to you.

J: Just don't go in your pajamas again.

H: Why not?

J: Because for one, your muscles are for me to see and no one else.

H: Okay, I won't go out in my pajamas anymore as long as you stop giving me your energy.

J: I'm just looking out for my mate.

H: Yeah and your mate wants to protect you from everything and anything to make sure that your safe.

Josie smiled and I kissed her on the forehead.

J: Do you have to meet up with him?

H: Unfortunately I do but I promise I'll make it up to you tonight.

J: You promise?

H: You have my word.

Josie sat up and I got up and out of bed. I saw Penelope has woken up and rolled her eyes.

Pe: Have I ever said how much I hate waking up with the both of you in here?

H: Where would you rather us go?

Pe: Josie has a room, correct?

H: She does but Lizzie is a little upset with me.

J: No she's not. I thought you guys talked yesterday?

H: We did but I don't want to get on her bad side.

Pe: Okay well go meet up with Cruz.

H: You're coming with since you're in on this.

Pe: Then shouldn't Josie go?

H: If she wants to. Then sure she can come along.

I turn my attention over to Josie and she kindly shakes her head.

J: I think I'll just lay here for today.

H: I'm sorry you have to go through this. Is there anything I can do? Get you your favorite food from the kitchen or anything?

J: That'd be great actually but I don't want you to think you always have to take care of me.

H: I like taking care of you Jo. So let me do this for you.

J: Fine.

Pe: Oh for god sakes just get married already. You guys suck.
