S4 Ch. 1- Where Is She?

Josie's POV

I didn't really sleep last night. Lizzie came through the door of Hope's bedroom and she frowned.

Li: What's wrong?

J: Nothing, let's go back to the school.

I stand up and Lizzie walked up to me. Only reason I know that is because I was standing in front of a mirror to make sure I didn't look entirely horrible from the night before.

Li: Where's Hope?

J: She's out.

Li: Out? Where could she have gone?

J: I uh I don't know but we shouldn't leave them waiting so let's just go back to the school.

Li: Did she do something again?

I shake my head and went into the bathroom. I splashed water on my face and dried my face off with a towel. Lizzie was right behind me again.

Li: What happened?

J: What do you mean?

Li: Last night something happened.

J: Weird of you to assume something like that.

Li: You don't usually look so exhausted. It's like someone ripped your heart out and ate it right in front of you.

J: That is oddly specific.

I walked away and Lizzie followed right behind me. I walked down the stairs and everyone smiled at me and Lizzie. We went out to the car after saying our goodbyes. Nobody really asked where Hope was besides Lizzie.

Hope's POV

I told my aunt that I'd meet them at the school after a long night. She let me go and I was finally at the school. I was in my dorm room, laying in bed and not wanting to leave. Things were to go back to normal I was to avoid everyone.

There was a knock on my door and I stood up. I slowly opened the door and saw Cruz standing there with my jersey.

Cruz: I'm happy you decided to come back. We all missed you.

H: Yeah I'm sure you guys did and I'm happy you finally found out what was going on in the school.

Cruz: If you need any-

H: I need one thing.

Cruz: What's that?

H: I need the gym all to myself at night. Nobody is allowed down there passed curfew, only me.

Cruz: You must've went through a pretty traumatic thing over the past month so I'll grant you your request. Also I have set up a meeting for you to go visit Emma. You can have the gym all to yourself as long as you meet her.

I nod and he raised an eyebrow at me. I smiled to convince him that I am perfectly fine and I haven't just spent the last month chasing down enemies just to make new ones in the process. He didn't seem to believe it but he did drop it and smiled back at me.

Cruz: I'll see you at practice this afternoon.

H: I would never let the team down sir.

Cruz: You did this past month but I know why you left so all is well. Hopefully we can start winning with our star quarterback being back.

H: You can always count on me headmaster Cruz.

Cruz: I know I can. Go eat some breakfast and get to class. It'd be a shame if I kicked you off the team for such horrible grades.

H: Yeah, I'll be down there sir.

Cruz smiled and walked away. I shut my door and sighed. Who knew it'd be so stressful being back. It'll only get stressful from here.
