Ch. 4- Location of The Files

Josie's POV

I've spent the entire day so far without any of Hope's remarks. I also haven't really seen her since yesterday. Lizzie and Mg walk up to me and I give them a friendly smile.

Li: So, would it be okay if I stayed with Mg tonight?

J: Yeah, I have some things to do so don't worry about me.

Li: Okay? Everything okay?

J: Yeah, I need to finish a project.

Lizzie nods and her and Mg walk away. I needed to get the file back from Hope. She can't have this control over me, I won't let her. I seen Penelope, who was Hope's best friend. I walked up to her and she had fear in her eyes.

J: Penelope.

Pe: Josie, uh hey. Look about yesterday, plans are called off. I really need to go.

J: Pen, wait.

Pe: I'm really sorry I have to go.

She walked off pretty quickly. I groaned and a young boy came up to me. He had black curly hair and was wearing a red flannel.

La: Hi I'm Landon. You must be the new girl?

J: Yeah, the new girl.

La: I can help you with your problem.

J: What problem?

La: Your Hope problem. She has dirt on you, doesn't she?

J: I don't know what your talking about.

La: I know where she hides everything, I can help you.

J: Then tell me where everything is and-

There was a slam on a locker next to us. I turned to my side and seen a tall guy. He also had black hair, it just wasn't curly. He was even darker than Landon.

Ra: We can help.

J: Who are you?

Ra: Your new best friends. Look if we help get whatever you need back then we can bring down the Mikaelson's pride.

J: Pride? You act like they actually have some sort of royalty.

La: Oh trust us, they do. You ever see Hope get in deep ass trouble?

J: No, but that doesn't-

Ra: It means everything here. Her dad basically owns the school and she can pay her way out of anything.

La: Bro her dad is dead, don't disrespect the dead like that.

Ra: I was only disrespecting her, I have nothing against her father.

J: Okay back on topic guys.

Ra: Well Landon has this huge crush on Hope so if he can keep talking to her and to distract her. I can steal a key from her and then give it to you and then you can get whatever you need out.

J: Why do you guys want to help me?

La: We're tired of seeing her basically bully people because she's the all powerful one.

J: Then spread rumors instead of teaming up with me. I hardly know you guys.

La: You want your file back or no?

J: How'd you know?

La: It's pretty obvious and she has basically everyone's files. She copies them and then keeps the original and then gives the copy version back to Cruz.

I blink a couple times, not fully believing what I just heard and they nod. It seemed like whatever she was doing was completely normal. Then again she can just easily blackmail whoever she wants with the original copy and pay Cruz to get out of trouble.

J: If you have a crush on her then why are you even trying to do this?

La: To prove to her that I'm not always going to listen to her when me and her can get into a relationship.

Ra: Bro she's never gonna get back with you.

La: Yes she will and I'll make sure of it.... Somehow.

J: No offense Landon but even the most ugliest animal wouldn't date you.

La: Ouch Saltzman. That burns.

The guy who slammed his hand on the locker laughs. I smiled and then guess who shows up. That's right, Hope fucking Mikaelson. Out of everyone she could go to, she chose to come over here. Just great.

Hope's POV

I seen Rafael and Landon talking with Josie. Rafael seems like he wants her for only her body. Landon seems like he has something up his sleeve. Josie was smiling and laughing from what I can see and I feel this angry feeling coming over me. I walk up to them and smirk.

H: Hello boys and m'lady.

Ra: Yo, Mikaelson. Dap me up.

H: No thanks, Landon what are you doing here?

La: Talking to the newbie.

H: Weird.

La: Yeah...

H: Rafael, what are you doing here?

Ra: Just trying to hit, ya know how it is sometimes.

H: Hit what exactly because last I knew you have terrible game.

Rafael looks down and I smirk some more. Landon gulps and then I finally look at Josie. She seems like she isn't scared. I wink at her and she flips me off.

La: Raf we should get going.

Ra: Yeah I agree brother. Let's go.

They ran off, like literally ran off. Now it was only me and Josie.

J: And I really thought I could get away from you and your remarks.

H: Run while you still can then.

J: I'm not scared of you.

H: You should be. Everyone is.

J: Why because you have all their files? Working up some sort of thing so you can blackmail them.

H: Where did you get that from?

J: A couple of friends of mine.

Josie began to walk away. She came back and looked at me.

J: Oh and without daddies money, you'd be absolutely nothing.

She smirked and walked off. I looked at her and felt very self conscious; something no one has made me feel in a very long time. How did she even know? Landon and Rafael might've told her. I'll get them back. I'll make them pay if it's the last thin- Penelope shakes me out of my thoughts.

Pe: Hope, your eyes. They're yellow again.

H: For how long?

Pe: Since Josie has been walking away from you like she just won at a really good game at the highest difficulty.

H: Follow her. Keep a close eye on her.

Pe: Why?

H: Because I said so and something tells me that something bad is going to go down.

Pe: Like what?

H: War

Penelope seemed scared and I walked away. Josie, Landon and Rafael will all pay for this. Even if it's the last thing I do.
