(Calum's POV)
Currently Luke is recording his solo for a new song in the recording booth and the rest of us are sitting in the studio lobby.
Kailey texted me and told me she'd be here soon. I can't wait to see her. Lately we've both been so busy and don't get to spend as much time as we'd like with each other.
Text message-
Kailey<3 - just here now x
"Kailey's just here now, I'm going down to meet her" I announced the the boys and I left to go down the stairs to the entrance.
...
"Kailey!" I said too excitedly when I saw her.
"Calum" she said back, mocking my tone.
I pulled her into a hug and kissed her softly.
"I love you" I told her before we started going upstairs.
"I love you too boo" she giggled.
...
"Kailey!" Michael and Ashton shouted together.
"Hey guys" Kailey laughed.
Luke was just finishing up now, it'd be my turn next.
"How're you?" Ashton asked Kailey.
"Great actually" she smiled.
Luke came out and signalled to me to go in. I got ready and stood by the microphone waiting for the track to play.
I started to sing my solo. My eyes kept drifting to outside the booth where my girlfriend looked very cozied up with Ashton. This wasn't the first time this happened. I know Ashton is kailey's best friend, but I'm her boyfriend.
I'm starting to think she has feelings for Ashton and doesn't like me that way anymore.
...
The drive home is silent. I didn't talk to Kailey much since the studio. She didn't take five minutes to sit with me all day. The only time she spoke to me was when Ashton went to record. Right now, I'm beyond upset.
"Calum?"
I kept my eyes on the road.
"Cal?"
Stopped at a red light, turned the corner and pulled up outside our apartment.
"Calum! Answer me!" Kailey almost shouted.
"Why should I Kailey?! It's not like you ever pay attention to me!" I replied in the same tone.
"What do you mean? I always pay attention to you!"
I scoffed at what she said and looked away.
"Calum, this isn't about Ashton again is it?"
I didn't answer.
"You know that I love you and Ashton is just like a big brother to me. I'll try my very best from now on to spend more time with you, because you, Calum Hood, are my world and I hate seeing you upset. I'm sorry"
I turned to Kailey.
"I love you"
She smiled and leaned in to kiss me. We sat in the car for about twenty minutes before finally going inside to cuddle and watch movies all night.
