Calum imagine for Maisie
I sat in the living room of Ashton's house with Luke and Michael, waiting for Calum and Ashton to return with pizza. The television was on but no one was really paying attention to what was on. We were all caught up in our own thoughts.
"Will they hurry up already?!" Sighed a hungry Luke.
"I know, I'm starving" I exclaimed.
"Me three" Michael chimed in.
The front door opened and in came a happy Calum and Ashton with multiple pizza boxes in their hands.
"We're back with Australia's finest pizza" Ashton laughed.
"Finally" I said to Calum and Ashton.
"Gosh, you couldn't of waited any longer could you?" Calum said, sarcasm debatable in his voice.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked confused.
"You just had Chinese food leftovers like two hours ago, can you ever stop eating?!" Calum laughed.
By now the boys were listening to our little conversation and gazed from me to Calum in hope of a reply.
I didn't reply to Calum. To be honest I was hurt inside. Was he calling me fat? Was he trying to tell me to stop eating? What is his problem?
I felt tears brim in my eyes so I left before they were noticeable.
"Man, what was all that about?" I heard Ashton say to Calum from outside the door.
"What was what all about?!" Calum said.
"Poor Maisie probably thinks you're calling her fat now or something!" Luke said slightly raising his voice.
"I didn't mean that though!" Calum said with clear guilt in his voice.
At this point I was crying so I made my way to the bathroom to calm down. I looked at myself in the mirror. Why would Calum pick me? I am fat and ugly. Ew.
I heard a knock on the door but I ignored it. I continued to think to myself. Little did I know I was thinking out loud.
"Maisie...." I heard Calum say from the other side of the door.
"You are the most beautiful girl that I have ever seen. You're the only one I want. I didn't mean what I said and I definitely did not try to say that you were fat. You're funny, chatty, cuddly, pretty and most of all perfect. You are the most perfect person I have seen in my whole life. Please don't leave me for making a stupid mistake like this. I really don't think I could live without you..." Calum said with love and guilt in his voice.
I couldn't see him but I could imagine tears rolling down his cheeks. I fumbled with the door handle and finally opened it with nerves running through my body.
I looked up to see a tear stained face.
"I'm sorry Maisie" Calum said through tears.
I nodded my head, I couldn't manage to function words.
I smiled at Calum and slowly snook my hands around his waist while he quickly followed my movements.
"I love you so, so, so much Maisie. I never intended on hurting you"
"It's okay Calum, I love you more than you can imagine" I replied.
"I love you" Calum said again.
"I love you more" I giggled at our childishness.
"That's impossible" he exclaimed.
"I make the impossible possible" I said quietly.
Calum left a soft kiss to my temple and left out a content sigh.
