He forgot. Again. It was only one day each year that you celebrated.
Last year on your birthday Ashton was on tour. He text you all day and skyped you later on that night but not once did he say happy birthday. You told him that he forgot and he said that he'd never forget it again and he'd do anything to make it up to you.
You forgave him and believed he wouldn't forget again. You were wrong.
"Hey y/n? Want to order out tonight?" Ashton asked.
You just shrugged your shoulders, keeping your eyes glued to your phone.
"Is that a yes or a no?" He asked, chuckling slightly.
You just shrugged you shoulders again and have him a blank state.
"Okay, okay! Ill make us something, yeah?" He said putting up his hands in defence. He didn't know what he did wrong.
You didn't reply. You didn't even give him a shrug.
Later that day Ashton had dinner set out on the table.
'Maybe he didn't actually forget and he was planning something really romantic' you thought.
You sat down and ate your spaghetti silently.
"Want to watch some movies tonight or something? Today has been so boring!" Ashton whined.
You shrugged your shouldn't and made a noise to say 'I don't mind'.
Ashton put down his fork and looked at you.
"Y/n what's wrong with you today? You've basically ignored me all day and I haven't even done anything wrong!" Ashton said trying to remain calm.
You gave him that look as if you couldn't believe what he just said.
"I can't believe you Ashton!" you said through gritted teeth while throwing your fork on your plate and stomping off to your room.
