Buried Feelings.

5. Jason

I blink my eyes open hating that I didn't close the curtains last night before I climbed into bed beside Alyssa. The sun shined through the windows kissing the side of my face trying to blind me. I let out a loud groan and cover my eyes with my hand as I turn over and stretch out my hand only to notice Alyssa not being beside me. I open my eyes again and sure enough I see an empty space next to me so I sit up and see none of her clothes lying around. I run a hand through my messy bed hair and look around to see a sticky note attached to my TV across the room. I eye it casually as I get out of the bed and take it from the TV screen.

Last night was awesome, but I had to run. See you round Green Eyes. A xxx

I grab my phone from beside my bed and then I realise I didn't have her number. Oh shit. I just hope she got home okay. I shuffle my feet across the room and go to make breakfast.

Once I ate breakfast and had a shower I pulled on a blue buttoned up shirt with a pair of Levi's and slipped on my loathers. I looked at the clock above my bedroom door. It was mid day and I needed to get out the house. For some reason I couldn't get Alyssa out my head. Ever since I met the girl she's been attached to my mind and no matter what I do I can't seem to shift her.

At the beginning it was just the amazing sex we seem to have, but now I'm thinking it's something more. I think I might be developing feelings for her which isn't good. Alyssa doesn't seem like the kind of girl who settles for one guy and I won't be that guy who gets obsessed over a girl they like. I refuse to be that guy. I grab my car keys and leave my house. I jump into my car and head over to Mattie's house. Hopefully his awake.

I pull up outside the gates to his house. Yes Mattie had the typical house you'd see in America with the big gate that had an intercom. You could tell me lived in the posh and rich side of Sutton can't you? Instead of using the intercom I type in the code I only knew and saw the gates open up. I drive in and make sure the gates close behind me before parking beside his Mercedes. I get out the car and enter his home seeing Bettie the maid dusting the living room so I ask her where Mattie and Clover are. She tells me that they should be up and in the den. I thank her and make my way to the den. As I got closer I heard voices and giggling so I slowly keep walking closer and stick my hand around the corner waving it like a flag.

"Okay guys I'm going to come in so if you could please stop doing whatever it is your doing and be at least decently dressed I would appreciate that a lot" I announce poking my head around to see them both sat on the couch at the far end of the den "Did I interrupt something"

"Actually no. Lucky for you we had finished about 10 minutes ago" Mattie assures me winking at his girlfriend making her blush.

Clover pulled her cardigan tighter around her body cautiously looking at Mattie then at the ground as she stood up "I'm going to go erm... I'm going to go for a shower and get dressed guys" I nod looking anywhere, but at her as she bent down and kissed Mattie real quick before giving me an awkward smile and rushing out the room.

"I did interrupt you guys didn't I?" I eye Mattie and he smiles holding up Clovers bra she once had on this morning.

"What do you think dude?" I groan in a low voice "Besides there was a sock on the door knob"

"Actually dude you might want to be a little more careful the door was open and poor Bettie is only down the hall, if she had walked in she would have died there and then" Mattie and I share a look before both smiling at the look Bettie would have given if she had walked in a moment earlier.

"Or she would have liked it and felt something" Mattie added with a hint of laughter in his voice.

"Oh come on dude that's disgusting she's like 75 or something" I make a face shaking that out my head.

"Ha yeah lol" Mattie laughs again "Anyway changing subject who's that little hottie you went home with last night?"

Hottie? Oh he means Alyssa. Well there goes my forgetting her for the day. I look at Mattie and think of what to say to him. He doesn't have to know that I've been sleeping with the girl. He can just know about last night... Simple yeah?

"Is she the same girl you took home from Mum's wedding the other weekend?" Wrong... Nothing's ever that simple.

"Erm... yeah... We've been hooking up here or there. It's no big deal" Lie... Its defiantly a big deal... A big deal that I'm trying to put to the imagination or at least the back of my mind, but it seems like today that isn't going to happen. Not when Mattie brought her up in a conversation.

"Has this hook up girl got a name or you just banging her and don't know it?"

"Of course she has a name... She isn't a hooker you know Mattie... Her name is Alyssa" I reply rocking my leg. I only do that when I'm nervous... I'm not nervous to tell Mattie about Alyssa, well okay maybe I am. I don't want him to find out that there could be something more to this whole thing between Alyssa and I on my part because I know what he'll say... He'll tell me to tell her and I can't do that. I can't risk telling her and scaring her off then losing her. That isn't going to happen. I'm just going to see what happens... Maybe I'm just over thinking it. I tend to do that sometimes. Its pretty clear that she doesn't plan on seeing me again. The note she left me was proof of that so I can get pass this. Pass her. I just know it.

"Well she is defiantly hot" Mattie states the obvious. Of course I already know Allie is hot. I'm sleeping with her remember. I know her body a little and I know what she likes.

"Whose hot?" Clover asks walking into the den again. This time she was fully clothed. She sat down beside Mattie and grabbed her bra from his lap "I was looking for this jerk face" Mattie just puckered his lips and Clover kisses him lightly "So who's hot... Who we talking about because if it's me I can always leave the room again and let you guys carry on talking" Clover had long naturally curly blond hair which was now clipped back with these big blue eyes. She was totally Mattie's type and they were perfect for each other which is why I set them up back in secondary school.

"Mattie was just asking about the girl I went home with last night"

"Ahh the Brunette hottie from the bar last night. She was totally hot" Clover agreed "We were all betting on you hitting that all night. We saw you guys dancing and talking most of the night and the looks you would give each other. It was obvious what was going to happen"

"They've been hooking up for a while" Mattie added and Clovers big blue eyes lit up and she stood up on the couch tucking her feet underneath her.

"So do we get to meet her because we could like add her to the group. I could do with another girl to chill and chat with" I could tell Clover was loving that idea, but I don't think that would work. I'd see Alyssa all the time and with me not knowing what these feelings I have are right now that wouldn't be a good idea.

"I'm not sure yet Clo... I mean we aren't exactly friends I wouldn't say... We just have sex and sometimes eat breakfast together. She was gone before I woke this morning" I tell them and they both nod like they understand. I then look at my watch. Wow how time flies nearly four in the afternoon. My phone then buzzes in my pocket. A text from Alyssa. How did she get my number?

Hey Green Eyes you busy? A xxx

No why, what's up? J xxx

Fancy coming to get me... I don't want to be around the rent and sib right now. A xxx

Okay sure... Where are you Princess? J xxx

In town. The famous Italian restaurant A xxx

Okay I'll be there in 10 minutes J xxx

Okay Green Eyes I'll be outside waiting A xxx

I put my phone back in my pocket and stand up "I have to go guys, but we'll do something soon yeah... We still on for the fair thing next month?"

"Of course. I wouldn't miss the summer fate for anything" Clover made clear smiling at me as she snuggled closer to Mattie.

"Okay well I really need to go, but I'll catch you guys later" I do a man hand shake thingy with Mattie and kiss Clover on the cheek before leaving for my car and heading to go pick Alyssa up.
