I have exactly 3 weeks until the summer is over and I'm back in school for my final year of college. I had an extra month off because of my dad passing which doesn't seem fair, but I guess everyone including my mum thought it'd be a good idea.

So it had been about 3 days since I found out about Scottie's family role in my family and to say I wasn't happy is an understatement, well to me anyways. I've tried avoiding my family and Scottie's family including him like the plague, but apparently I'm catching something because My Mother won't let that happen.

Last night we had an argument because Mum threw the bombshell on me that we we're going to Scottie's house for the weekend. So yes I am indeed forced to spend the weekend with my family and his without having an out. Oh god doesn't my life just suck.

So here I am now packing a bag for the weekend to go to the family home of the people I don't wish to get to know again or share anything with at all. Scottie and I had like one interaction and that was when we were at the bar and I'd like to leave it that way, but oh no My Mother seems to like this family along with the fact that she seems to want me and Scottie to spend time with each other. If only I got to get out of this one.

Don't think that I haven't tried because I have. I've screamed, yelled and refused to go, but none of that worked along with the fact that I'm not 18 yet and My very awful mother is making that known when I throw it at her all the time. I wish dad was here... Then things would be different that I know for sure.

"Alyssa you ready. We need to leave now before we get stuck in traffic" Mum calls up the stairs. I let out a loud sigh and drag my bag off of the bed grabbing my jacket, sun glasses and hat I head down the stairs to see Mum outside packing the car up. I should really buy my own, but I haven't yet. Maybe when college finishes and I get to get away from this god awful women known as my mother "Okay sweetie let's get going" Mum ushers me out of the door and into her car. I sink into the seat hating that I'm even here. I really wish I could have stayed with Jessica or even Jason.

Wait... What... Did I just say Jason?

Okay Alyssa its okay that was a minor step back... We'll juat delete that from our mind and forget you even thought it.

Or maybe not huh?

I mentally roll my eyes at my thoughts and bring myself back to reality. The god awful reality. The whole drive up to Essex was murder. My mum put in her stupid classical music the whole journey so me being the smart girl that I am put in my headphones and let the songs take me away mentally. Finally the car came to a final stop so I lift my hat above my eyes and see we had stopped outside a three story pent house.

I get out of the car slowly shutting the door behind me I look up and see Maggie open the front door to greet us "Oh how lovely, you guys made it" She says hugging my mum and giving me a smile. I gave her a look. I'm not sure what the look meant, but it sure wasn't a smile. I didn't wanna be here and if I have to make that known to leave then I will all weekend.

"Thank you for having us Maggie" Mum kissed up.

"Oh it's our pleasure" Maggie's smile became sickening and I just wanted to bolt down the drive and back into the car then she spoke again getting attention "Hey Scottie darling how about you take Alyssa to her room" Scottie came out from the house and smiled at me. His sandy blond hair shined in the sun and his blue eyes glistened. Oh great I'm checking him out. I shake those thoughts from my head when he signals for me to follow him. Note to self... Remember we hate Scottie. His not cute and his horrible.

I follow Scottie around the side of the pent house and up the spiral stair case on the side of the house. What is up with guys and their spiral stair cases. We get to the top and I see double doors which he opens revealing a big double room. It is was amazing. A big king size bed in the middle with gold and white sheets with a silky gold and white spiral covers. There was a white tower cupboard in the corner and a chest of drawers next to it with a small night stand by the bed.
