Lady of Imperfection: Hate Game was the sequel of the Lady of Perfection: Love Game.
In my college days, there was this dating simulator game that went viral. It was about the heroine, Bella, she was the adopted daughter of the Duke of the Mordecai Household.
Everyone was bewitched by her beautiful, glowing pink hair and enchanting, crystal blue eyes. Aside from that, she was adored for her courage and kindness. Most people would say that she was an angel sent by heaven.
In comparison to the villainess, Heather, she was considered a monster and would always get punished by her family or the male leads who were protecting Bella.
They would always be there for her, no matter where she was, there's someone who would come and save the day.
As I played the game, that was the only flaw of it. The heroine was so dependent to everyone else that I didn't find any connections with her.
I had a connection more to the villainess, Heather. I, too, has been replaced by someone prettier, better, and most of all, useful.
When I was still on Earth, I had a normal family, a mother, a father, an older brother, and a younger sister. And, just like most families, the second child was bit paid attention to. I was neglected. Not that it matters to me since, it has always been that way.
Not being good enough no matter what I did. Even when I was suffering, no one noticed. And, if one would choose, they would pick either my brother or sister. I was... An outcast, just like Heather was.
The moment Bella was adopted to the Mordecai Household, all the attention went to her. Now, as a person, I don't have any complaints, however, to do it again and again and again, was not a mistake anymore. It was a choice.
That was when Heather found out that she has been replaced by her new and adopted sister. Someone who just arrived. She, who has been born and blood-related to them, has been thrown aside.
Her fiance, the crown prince had ignored her as well and started to cheat on her with Bella. Her personal knight, who has saved her, has also switched sides.
The game ended with the fifth male lead, the werewolf, choosing the heroine as his mate, the magician, the third male lead, died in order to save the heroine, and the fourth male lead, the assassin, was the one who has killed Heather, the villainess of their story.
The game had two features, the casual story, this ended with individual routes and the difficult mode, this ended with a harem.
The game became so popular because of that, for lonely people, like me, the developers of the game knew what exactly that we wanted.
Ten years later, they had released a new game, Lady of Imperfection: Gate Game. From the title itself, one can already guess what it was about. The game was not as good as the first one so it didn't sell as much. The first game had almost a billion profit, the sequel didn't even reach a million mark.
But, it changed when one of the developers, who got fired, released her own game called, Lady of Resilience. It was more of a puzzle game than a dating simulator but every time one finished a level, there was a hidden quest that comes with a story as a reward.
Of course, as someone who was obsessed with this game, I pre-ordered it. The game was banned a few weeks later for copyright issues but I had already downloaded and finished the game.
It turned out, there was one more male lead in the sequel that was not found and was never been found. The creator of Lady of Resilience was imprisoned, but I visited her once. She said that the sixth male lead was supposed to be an easy catch, but everyone hated Heather and decided to change the whole game into that shitty one which didn't sell well.
Now, that I've been reincarnated into this world as Heath e Mordecai, I need to find him quick. Good thing, I played all three games and visited the developer, I know exactly how to survive in this hellhole.
First, I must write a list of the male leads.
I opened my drawer, thank goodness, there are some paper and pen here. Oh, and it's a fountain pen, never had a chance to use this but it'll suffice.
The first male lead, Rowan.
He is the Crown Prince of the Heart Empire and Heather's fiance (well not for long). He have white hair and orange eyes. His orange eyes represents his mother's side of the family. They have higher magic levels and abilities than most. This was why the King of the Spade Kingdom had married to the Empress of the Heart Empire. He is such a playful persona, at least, in the game, he is. He would always tease the heroine every once and a while.
The second male lead, Adam.
He is Heather's personal guard/knight. He have dull brown hair, as the game said, but, he have magnificent violet eyes that could sweep a maiden off her feet in an instant, all said by the game. He is actually a capable guy with good morals. However, he is serious and stern due to his past and the way people treats him. The game said that he only showed his true self and emotions in front of Bella. Which was very romantic to me when I was playing as the heroine. Now, well, I don't feel anything about him anymore.
The third male lead, Castriel.
He's the great mage of the great tower. He is mysterious and cunning. He would try to run away from the heroine every time they meet because of his "sin". I honestly don't know what that is because the game literally forgot all about it. He have long, blue hair that reaches his ankles but it's always braided to the side. His amethyst eyes also quite bewitching.
The fourth make lead, Kali.
The assassin. He have green hair and white eyes. He have tanned skin, too, which I found attractive when I was playing as Bella. He is actually quite a cinnamon roll. The game said that he was such a sinful man, murdering without remorse nor regret. But, he changed the moment he saw Bella which was really weird because not even Harley Quinn can change the Joker and she was a professional psychologist with P.h.D. But, I went along with it since it was just some stupid since of fiction. So, that's how it was.
The last but not the least, the fifth male lead, Zale.
The game said that he was a sigma and became a rogue werewolf after his pack rejected him. I honestly thought that he would relate to Heather but he didn't. He hated her, if anything else. He have red long red hair that flows naturally to his waist. His green eyes highlighted his entire look. If I evaluate him, he is what one can call a yandere. Yes, he was one. He was so obsessed with making the heroine his mate that he's always around her, no matter where she goes and would save the day. That's how she got close to Bella. And, of course, the world have a fucked up mindset and everyone found this behavior normal and romantic. Geez.
And, that's it. Now, the hidden male lead, which I don't really know anything about.
Darius. He and his clan had helped the gods with their war against the human revolution. Their while clan was rewarded with lots of things, one of these, is being a demigod.
However, another revolution was raised and most of them died. Only Darius was left alive and now I have to free him. But, before that, I need the essence of the Black Dragon. His essence can give any species exist on earth an aura that could rival that of the gods.
I also hate this family, so I wish I could flee as soon as possible. The sooner I can find Darius, the better. Also, his location is far away from the other male leads, so no death flags.
Alright, right now, I need to get my heart ready because this is a life and death situation, my whole fate and life here would depend in this one decision. It's outcome will determine if I can live peacefully or not.
Alright, Sandy, I mean, Heather. Let's do this!
