"Thea, the consensus." I commanded.

"Here, my lady." She handed the paper  with both hands.

I immediately unfolded the paper and read the contents out loud.

"So, they are, at least, 1,000 inhabitants in this village and more than half had lost their families. Other than that, there were a hundred fifty people who lost their homes." I sighed. That's a lot.

But, we can do this right?! I mean, Keir will be helping us, Kale is here, as well. It'll be fine!

"It's settled, then." Okay. We can speed up the rebuilding. So, money is the only problem we have for now. Kale said that he'll help, so that's gonna be alright. Oh, one more thing. "Shall we introduce you as a dragon or just some mage?" I consulted Keir.

Dragons were being hunted before; mostly because of their unique and incredible powers. They were treated as if they're genies ready to grant any wish. They were used as weapons, and as cruel as humans are and as curious as dragons were to them, it was bound to happen.

"It's alright to introduce me as a dragon, lady. It's about time, anyway." Keir consented. Is it really, though? Is it really fine? It's like I'm crossing some boundaries, somehow.

I looked at him, studying his facial expressions. He didn't show any doubt nor hesitation.

"Okay." I think he'll be okay.

Rod escorted us to the stage, Kale was already there, too.

"Hear ye, hear ye! Our heroes has come!" Rod had stood on the stage the villagers created for him. They seemed to have a good relationship with each other.

"This is Lady Heather! King Darius of the Fairies, Miss Althea, the Almighty Black Dragon, Keir and Young Master Kale!" Even though he's name was originally Elder, he wanted to be know as Keir.

The noise erupted and the crowd's cheer began to spread throughout the whole

"Woo!"

"Our heroes!"

"Go heroes!"

"Quiet down as they will speak!" Rod announced.

I looked at the rest of my friends and their all looked at me. Kale signaled for me to speak. The others had no objections, either.

I stepped up in front of the large crowd and cleared my throat.

"Firstly, I would like to apologize in behalf of the empire. We had took a long time to help you. But, u can assure you, this time around, we'll all be here."

"Secondly, I apologize for not being able to protect all of you as I intended. I have no excuse for my actions."

"Thirdly, my friends I will help you rebuild all of the buildings and houses that has been destroyed die to the battles. We would also give our donations to those who lost their homes and family members."

"Go Lady Heather!" A little girl yelled and noise spread all over.

"Ah." I gasped, didn't expecting to have a good response from them.

Rod patted my back. "They love you." I smiled at his remark. I'm glad that they're not mad.

"Thank you for your consideration and cooperation." We all bowed.

"As I call your family name, please step up so you could get your donation." Kale declared and all of them were so attentive.

"Keir, come with me. Let's rebuild their houses." I whispered.
