We encountered a bunch of tiny fairies. Woah! They're flamboyant but not friendly.

"What are you doing here, humans?! You are banned from this area!" One of them yelled in such a cute, tiny voice. One of them released some type of magic that almost froze me to death. Is that an Ice Fairy or something?

Small but terrible is the right way to describe them, indeed.

"What? How did you get your hands on that power, you filthy thing?!" No need to double insult me! Filthy and thing?! These fairies are not nice.

"What have you done to Elder?!" One of them flew near us, holding a tiny metal sword.

"Just a moment." They all looked to where the voice came from.

"Elder!"

"Did this human girl threatened you? We shall end their lives here!"

"No. I've come here to my own accord. She has passed all my tests, together with her knight. I have given her my essence and she wishes to face the last descendant of the Sun god." Elder explained to them, and the fairies listened carefully.

"What nonsense are you spouting?!" My eyes landed on a fairy with a huge crown embodied with gold and diamonds. "A mere human wants to challenge our king? What kind of treachery is this?" Why are they so hostile? Oh, wait, I can answer that. It's because my ancestors has massacred the entire demigod clan except for Darius.

I stepped in front of Elder and Adam. I took a deep breath and faced the queen. I bowed to her and said, "I have come to free the king of the descendant.of the Sun god, Darius. In exchange of that, I would like to challenge him in a trial." They all whispered amongst each other. I bit my inner cheek. Please... Please permit me, just this once. I need it for my survival.

"Since you begged nicely, I will consult the king." I didn't really beg, more of asking, but I'll accept that. "You." She pointed at me and Adam. "Follow me." She, then, turned to Elder. "I don't know why you're doing this but it must be for a reason. I shall not question you further. But, know that he will not like this." She said to him and the rest of the fairies followed as she flew away.

What does that mean? Who's not going to be be happy about this? The Fairy Queen said he. Was it Darius? Once again, the game never mentioned about their relationship or whatsoever. I decided to keep quiet about it since Elder was kind enough to not ask me about my intentions in the past few days. Although, I'm still confused by all these plot holes.

"Shall we go?" I glanced at Elder. He nodded and we trailed behind the fairies.

They moved so fast that Elder had to use his magic to carry Adam and I. He looked really tired after that but he said to not pay attention to it. I respected his wishes.

We waited outside of a deserted town. We sat on the broken woods and trees. One wouldn't even know that this was once a home for the descendants of the demigods.

I hope Darius would comply. In the game, I have to challenge him into a duel, that was the trial for his arc or something. To get the essence, one must travel through all these mountains and forests as a trial to know if they are worthy of it.

Now, I must win or at least be even with Darius as a trial of strength and persistence. Lady of Resilience is just the right title for this, alright.

A few more minutes later, it was almost 3 in the afternoon. The Fairy Queen had gone out from a Darius' whereabouts. I stood up and asked, "Your Majesty, what was his answer?" The Fairy Queen furrowed her eyebrows. What's happening?
