I called for my personal maid, she's Althea, according to the game, she was the only one who accepted and paid attention to Heather. She was like a mother or sister to her. She was more of a family to Heather than her real one.

I heard the door crack open and there she was. Brown hair and brown eyed Thea. "Good morning, my lady, you called?" She asked, smiling.

"Yes. Ready my men's wear and also, pack me some clothes and food that could sustain me for at least a month." She looked at me with wide eyes. Ah, you must be worried, aren't you? Thea, you're only one who cared about me, us. I mean, for Heather and I. Don't worry, Heather, I'll treat her in the best way possible for you.

"My lady, where are you going? Are you planning on running away? If you are, I must go with you. I can't leave you alone." She insisted, walking towards me with teary eyes. Thea, you're such an angel. You should've been a saintess than a maid. You've wasted your potential here.

"Thea, if I was running away, I wouldn't leave you behind either. I'm just going on a trip. I'll come back with someone." I told her as she was already bustling through my closet, preparing my outfits.

"Well, then. You have to be safe out there, my lady. You can't leave me alone here." She held my hands. "You must come back alive, safe and sound. If I see a single scar in your beautiful skin, I will be the one who'll end you." She clenched her fist in the air.

"Isn't that a bit much?" I chuckled.

"No, it's not for you. You must be safe, okay?" I smiled at her. Thea is only a few years older than me. I saved her from the abuse from her family. She was once a slave and now, she has pledge her loyalty to me, for eternity.

"Yes, yes. I will come back without any scratch." I hope.

"Alright, then, I have nothing more to do than have my undying faith on you, my lady." She responded, pulling the hems of her dress, bowing.

"Then, I must go." I opened my window, which was on the third floor. I have been transferred to the attic ever since Bella arrived at my coming of age. My so-called-family said that it was their gift to me. A replacement as a gift on your debut? Hah!

"My lady, it's dangerous!"

"I'll be fine, trust me." I had already changed into my men's wear, Thea helped me with it. "I have only one order for you Thea."

"Yes, what is it, my lady? I would follow anything you command of me."

I gave her a heartfelt smile. "You must stay safe, as well, as you're here. If I see a scratch on you, we'll flee from this mansion." Besides, you're my only family here.

She smiled back at me. "Yes, of course. Your command will be fulfilled until your return, my lady."

"Then, I must take my leave. Good bye, Thea."

"Good bye, as well. Safe travels."

I slid through the roof and landed on the ground perfectly. I brushed off the dirt of my hands. I inhaled and flinched when I heard another voice another than mine.

I looked to my side. Shit, why is he here, of all times? Wasn't he supposed to be with Bella? Just leave me alone, bitch. I'm mentally giving you my middle finger.

I laughed, nervously, arranging the heavy backpack that I was carrying. "Adam, what are you doing here?"

"I am your personal guard, milady. It is my job to keep you safe." Yeah, right. You're always with Bella ever since she's been here. You've never even protected me anymore.

"Yes, as I can see. But, I'm fine, Adam. You're dismissed." I told him and opened the gate. As I began to walk, I felt a hand snake over my arm. I turn back and retrieved it from him. "It's rude to grab a lady without her permission, Adam. We've been through this." I glared at him. Please, don't stop nor follow me. It's the least you can do for being an asshole to the original Heather.

"No. I must know my master's whereabouts." Look who's talking now.

"Isn't your master, Bella, though?" I murmured to myself.

"Pardon me, milady, I didn't quite catch that."

"You don't need to. Just, stop following me. Go to Bella or something." I rolled my eyes.

"But, I am serving you, not Bella." I swear to God, I'll kill him. How could I brush him off?

"Milady, let me go with you. Miss Bella had instructed me to be better at my job for she said that I have been neglecting it." Of course, you were. And, curse you for only listening to Bella. I should just fire you. Wait a minute. That would work. This way, Bella and I won't see more often and I could leave without any escort. I would be rescuing Darius anyway, I would have enough protection coming back home.

"Adam, from now on. You are relieved from duty." I told him and his eyes widened. "This way, you can serve Bella without neglecting your job. Now, that's out of the way, I must leave."

"What? Milady, wait, please." Who are you to wait for, stupid? This might sound harsh but he was the asshole first. I treat people according to how they treat me. I didn't stop from my tracks. "Milady, I refuse to be relieved from duty." Ugh! What does he want now? A severance pay? I don't have any money with me at the moment.

"I'll give you your severance pay after I come back, so just leave me alone." I yelled. Good thing, this was a secluded area. Wait, did I say secluded? Fuck!

"Hey, hey, hey. It's a noblewoman. Do you have any money with you, miss?" I ignored him and kept walking. That was until I felt my backpack getting snatched from me. These bastards.

"Milady, be careful." I heard Adam's viice getting nearer and clearer. Didn't I tell him to leave me alone, goddamn it. So many detours.

I kicked the man on the stomach and fell to the ground, coughing blood. You little shits, you're fighting a black belter martial artist trained by a real martial artist, himself. You wanna have a brawl? Let's have a brawl.

I saw Adam with wide eyes, he must be shocked. Although, this is the first I've seen him with that kind of expression. The real Heather hated dirt and any type of dust. She would never touch anything dirty. It wasn't mentioned in the game, but a therapist said that she had OCD or Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. She was suffering it on her own, not even knowing she has it.

"What? That's all you got? Pathetic scrambling! Just give me my bag back." I smirked, this felt good. Fighting always felt so good. I licked my lips. Heather's body was not as strong as my original one. I was far stronger than this. But, this could suffice.

Three man gathered around me and more of them are running out from their hideout. Pathetic. I battled with a whole gang, alone. And, their leader was one of the kings in our town. This is nothing compared to that.

I began to kick and punch my enemies. I would kick their knees and grab their wrists to break; incapacitate them.

I turned back and saw a man charging in. Shit, I didn't saw him. I was about to punch him and I felt my arms locked. I'm completely surrounded by around sixty people, there were even more on the rooftops.

I closer my eyes and heard screams. It was Adam, his sword was drawn and so was blood. I kicked the man's foot and he let got of my other arm. I was held by two men, side by side. I had dealt with the other one. I punched the other in the face and threw him on the hard concrete.

The fight ended with Adam and I winning. He had a few wounds on him, his violet eyes landed on me. I looked away and searched for a handkerchief and wiped the blood and sweat on my face.

I panted and laid on the floor for a few minutes. It's almost lunch and I still haven't gone far. I hope Adam leaves, after this.

"Adam, you really should-" He sat beside me.

"I'm coming with you. Even if I have to fight and die at your hands, I shall stay with you." How is this man so stubborn? Can't he listen this once?
