Everyone else had exited the room except for me and Darius.

I took the opportunity to ask his whereabouts, not that I'm prying over. I'm just curious. "Where were you earlier?"

"Looking for clues." He responded, looking out the window. His golden yellow hair shone even brighter at the sight of the sun.

Oh, so he didn't flee because of me. I'm glad.

I smiled, instinctively. "Did you find any?"

"Only the irrelevant ones." His eyes trailed at me.

"Oh... I'm sorry." I trailed my eyes on the floor.

"No need to concern yourself over it." He looked away. I hummed in response. "Shouldn't you be getting ready for the tea party tomorrow?" Oh, right! I forgot.

Thea is currently not in my room but I know that she's outside, guarding like a knight.

I clapped my hands. "Ah, yes. Of course. Thea, come in and  find me some good dresses."

"What color do you want to wear, my lady?" She asked me, opening my average looking closet.

I grinned. "Violet." The color of pride.

I sat on my bed, waiting for her to find the good stuff.

"I'll find one that will suit your taste right this moment, my lady." Thea was humming while rummaging through my closet. She knows what's in there than I could ever.

"How about this, my lady?" She inquired.

It was more of a gown than a dress. It was violet with light blue laces. It has lots of ruffles and bows. It has long sleeves and corset along with it.

"Hmm... No, too extravagant. Can you find something simple but elegant. And, also emit an alluring aura to it." I said. Is that too vague? It probably is, but I know Thea will understand, somehow.

"My lady, what about this?" She consulted me, once again.

It had short sleeves and was above the knee. It had a huge bow on the chest area, showing off some cleavage.

That looked kinda good.  The unnecessary enormous bow is throwing me off, though. "Hmm... Almost. Is there another one that is similar to this?"

"Oh! This! My lady would like this!" Thea exclaimed.

The dress has one sling of a lace on the left as the sleeve and was backless. It was in pure violet and it has a decent amount of glitter on it.

"Yes. That's the one I want." I stood up from my bed. I knew she would get it.

I don't want to use magic since Bella might find out that Darius is a Sun Demigod, which she might've already found out, since she could most probably be a siren. But, I won't let her have any evidence to it.

Thea handed me a one inch heel sandal to go along with it, which was also in violet. Then, I asked Thea to braid the front part of my hair and the rest free. I chose violet bows to tie it.

I also picked a necklace with a simple but elegant violet pendant and a bracelet with violet diamonds.

The only question with my attire is: Is this modest enough?

No, not at all.

But, if you're facing your mortal enemy, why should you?

Dress for yourself, not for anybody else.

Also, the tea party will be in the afternoon, it's gonna be hot than the usual, so I'd rather take a countermeasure early on.

And, I feel really confident in this dress. It's like I'm a model on a runway or as if I'm someone who's having a photoshoot.
