Loud music in her ears, sweat glistening down her body, her long hair tied up in a ponytail falling on her shoulder as she landed punch after punch on the sandbag, which was hanging from the ceiling, making clinking sounds every time she hit it, harder than before. She doesn't even know what song was blasting on, even though she was more of a lyrical person but because that face keeps flashing in front of her eyes over and over again.

Ashley's body was on fire, from the intense workout or was it all him? Her limps were giving up but she wasn't ready to stop. She doesn't want to stop. Her hands were on verge of getting blisters all over its knuckles still she landed another string of punches as his face flashed in front of her eyes.

The chain supporting the bag, clinking hard as his voice, his words keeps repeating in her head like he was standing next to her and whispering it over and over again, just wanting her to corrode down. Her limps were shaking as sweat from her body dripping down, her chest constructing tight, releasing large puffs of air. As his words hit her again, a loud frustrated groan left her lips making her smack hard on the bag, breaking it off the hinge. Panting hard, she turned to grab a towel and a cold bottle of water. The cold liquid burned down her throat to the lungs, as they keep struggling to adjust to normal breathing. She sat at the corner thinking how to solve this misery, the dilemma moon goddess has put her into.

Why Moon Goddess, why? Why would you do this to me? What have I ever done to you- she screamed internally, looking up.

She closed her eyes as images of what happened today repeated again like a devastating thread.

She was in a mall, waiting for Louis in her grey hoodie and black jeggings. The guy was 20 minutes late, judging her better patience, she decided to wait for him outside the mall and give him an earful for his tardiness.

Her phone ringed, alerting her of incoming message, she was walking towards the exit, reading the message when a familiar scent struck on her nose, making her alert but before she could react, she collided with someone.

His scent musky like Sea Breeze combining with Rosemary and fresh Mint, his built towering over her. When her accessing eyes danced over his form, from his cut monkey washed jeans to black hoodie with a leather jacket. His strong, veined hands holding her by her waist, following towards the prodding veins marching, decorating his slender neck and tight Adam's apple. His mullet falling on the back of his neck, curling at the end. His 5'o clock shadow setting on his face making her squirm under him, the sharp jawline with little stubble grazing his skin and a straight long nose with those, those captivating sapphire eyes, piercing her in very twisted and deliciously sweet way. A small frown was present on his face but before she could say anything, he pulled her in a tight hug.

Relief flushed over her, contentment at finding her mate, her wolf was happy, dancing in the background. His scent helping her calm down, taking her worries go away, giving her an unknown feeling of home.

"I knew it" his voice deep, resonated in her ears as it went rough around the edges when he spoke

"I thought, why isn't there a spark? the tingling sensation that everyone described but I knew every bond is different, it takes time" she didn't know why but she was smiling. Listening to him was sheer happiness. Feeling his presence next to her, her body felt jolts of fire spreading and her heart beating louder with every passing seconds.

"It took time, but here it is. I knew it, I knew our bond was different and special. I'm so happy, I love you, Allison" he spoke

Her eyes snapped open at his words, anger crippled inside her at mention of another she-wolf from her mate's lips, but then it all clicked to her. She pushed him away turning around so he wouldn't be able to see her eyes and covering her head with the hood, pulling her hair in front of her. She knew he would run after her, so she took the forest path to get away from there, fading her scent away.

She ran straight to her gym and has been taking all her anger on the sandbag, her thoughts scattering in all direction, negative thoughts invading her mind like a poisonous snake, she thought,

Why do we always think negative when things go downhill, no matter how much you try to be optimistic?!

Is this how we're built?

To suffer with constant anxious, tension and unsolvable pressure?

Her father walked in, sitting on the resting seat next to her

"So, who pissed you this time?" he asked, knowing very well her temper and its circumstances

"The Universe" she scoffed, removing the wrist wraps from her hands

"Uh oh, but the whole universe involves me too, did I piss you off too, young lady?" Her father said looking at her with a teasing glance

She just rolled her eyes at his childish behavior.

Who will believe this person is Alpha of their pack, who has a record of shredding 10 werewolf in his human form? She thought in her mind, shaking her head.

"Dad, its..... Don't try to trick me" she replied, feeling a little dull. Sighing in defeat.
