Chapter 29: The Meet and an Unexpected Visit

Alarick quietly was helping Ashley in cleaning her wound and bandaging it up. Later they made dinner together, messing each other's clothes some more but lastly Alarick mentioned his reason for this meeting.

"I wanted to talk with you about something" his brow furrowing

Ashley remained quiet, looking up from her plate.

"About the thing, you saw with Alpha Caleb, Luna Cheryl and maybe me...... I remembered later on that, there someone like you who possessed such visions"

"Wait... what do you mean by possessed?" Ashley asked agitated.

"Well," Alarick became hesitant, careful using his next words "Someone who can see memories, past and future. So, I was concerned, because sometimes it isn't pleasant and thought we should find someone who can tell us what's going on"

"And who do you think will help us?" Ashley asked, feeling reluctant, not liking where the conversation was going towards.

Though she nodded with his lack of response, her mind was already on other track thinking how different scenarios and possibilities that Moon Goddess is going to throw her way.

They started spending more and more time together, sometimes to find what might be the reasons for her vision while sometimes about company work. Alarick started to admire Ashley's way of putting out the wrongs and rights of societies. Her way of visioning the world was very different from any average werewolf girls.

Ashley would also seek help from Alarick about the laws and reserving rights under werewolf committee. He understood, she was not only trying to build her pack and strengthen them, but she was creating a whole new bright world and he know that she will be going to have so many problems along the way, but it'll be the most beautiful thing too. Cause he wants to be her biggest support.

She was the most beautiful thing in this world.

His thoughts muttered out loud in his head, admiring her while going through so many instructions written on the paper she was holding, his thoughts followed with a sigh.

Ashley's movement halted, licking her lips, gulping down she slowly glanced up at him and he indeed was staring at her.

Alarick too didn't recognise that.

Ashley looked around, thankfully no one was around them. His scent has filled up the room while his thoughts were pouring out, quite loud and clear.

When Alarick came out of his trance and realised what he did and got hit with another one, she heard his thought too. He hurriedly got up, walking out of the room.

Alarick was quite busy with work but also has put his trusted people on lookout for some who might know and help Ashley figure out about her visions.

Sarah keeps on insisting for Ashley's visit, she wanted her to see how she ranked up in her training. Ashley smiled at her sweetness in adoration, agreeing finally then she hung up. Ashley turned and her smile stopped for a instance but a visible smirk made its way. She leaned against the table admiring from afar at the mighty Alpha cooking in her kitchen. Alarick would occasionally drop by her house; they'd talk about so many things from work to the crazy dressing style they share.

At afternoon, Ashley decided to drop by Crescent Falls pack. Everyone bowed respectfully for her, a little surprised to see her at their pack as she didn't even visit anyone for past month after her trail. Sarah ran towards her screaming and hugged her, tight.

Alarick was out from his meeting. Louis also came to meet her. All the three were walking towards Sarah's house when they bumped into someone, whose been running frantically, it seems. Ashley collided with Kai on the way. It seems his shift today was around this area.
