Chapter 13: A New Friend

Ashley was working out in the forest, hit after hit on the wooden dummy. She was all sweaty, she gave a final blow breaking its head into million pieces, huffing out, she closed her eyes. Inhaling deeply, she snap opened her eyes

"How long are you going to watch me?" she asked, slowly removing the wrap

Sarah silently came out from behind the tree, Ashley glanced her way as she started removing the wrap from around other her hand.

"You give a funny scent" Ashley mentioned as Sarah came closer

Sarah became aware and tried to move a little away, trying to control her pheromones running loose. Ashley grabbed the bottle and started drinking water while keeping her gaze fixed on the female in front of her, who was trying her best to control her emotions but still struggling.

"You are an omega, aren't you?" Ashley asked

Surprised Sarah looked up seeing Ashley standing closer to her with a little head tilt, she gulped down because it didn't sound like Ashley was asking but more like questioning and, her pale eyes terrified her. Small tears threatened in her eyes, Sarah stumbled back, leaning her body against the tree. Ashley found it amusing so to tease her a little more she moved a little closer towards the scared female.

"Does the Alpha know?" Ashley whispered near her ear as she trembled under her, sweating profusely.

Ashley retracted back, stopping the teasing and said while folding her hands in front of her.

"You can calm down; I'm not gone tell anyone" taking a few steps back

Sarah relaxed from her words a little but a visible frown painted her forehead as she asked,

"How did you find I was omega?"

"Your pheromones were loose; you need to control them better" Ashley stated shrugging off, patting her shoulder.

"It never happened before, I've been doing for so many years, how come you were able to find out?" Sarah questioned, herself more

Thinking maybe the medicine have stopped working on her, her thought scared her more- what if everyone finds out?

But then Sarah's eyes fell on the surrounding, the clouds started gathering up in the sky and the winds started blowing a little strong now while Ashley looked deep in thought like she was jumbled within her own ones.

"Look I really admire you and I want you to help me not be just a weak pray of all these wolves, something people can trample on" Sarah asked desperately

Ashley sighed in sadness after listening to the girl's feelings, she never been through all these traumas but she always saw many females getting treated badly so, Ashley nodded her head in affirmation and understanding.

Seeing sadness and all the torture swirling in Sarah's eyes, she extended her hand to console her but she didn't know what to say because she sucks in consoling someone, Allison was the one who was emotional and good around these kinds of things. Dang! She misses her more now.

But when Ashley's hand touched the female in front of her, she stilled, getting hit by tons of flashes of memories. It was blurry but she could feel the amount of torment went through the person. Her hand starts to feel hotter, burning as she yanked it back, looking at Sarah. The girl in front of her had gone through some terrible things and it sadden Ashley some more.

Later, when Both of them were walking towards the pack house, Ashley remembered something,

"Wait a second, you said years, does this mean you're older than me?" Ashley asked with wide eyes

"Yes, I'm 22. Your 18, right? You didn't know I was older than you" Sarah chuckled

"Damn girl, you look so young and I look like..." Ashley was about to but Sarah completed her sentence for her

"Old lady"

"Hey! Did you just call me oldy?!" Ashley said with fake anger

Both of them, laughed after that. Ashley was happy that someone is there who don't judge her and vibe with her other than Louis.

It's good to have a friend
