Ashley's eyes keep opening and closing several times while she was hurried to emergency. Everybody was shocked and confused as to why she wasn't healing. Does this mean she is not a werewolf? A mere human? They never saw her turn into wolf either.

Alarick shook his head as he ran towards emergency where worried Louis was waiting, Alarick breath felt heavy and heart keeps racing erratically, his shirt soaking in her blood while her body was turning cold.

Ashley was taken inside, Louis called for other doctors as well. After some time Alarick saw Uncle Lionel rushing inside too. Nobody saw a case something like this, everyone was tensed. While Alarick fingers keeps fidgeting for the end of operation and hearing good news that

She is okay

His mind was furious as to rouges who dare to lay a finger on her. Alarick has already informed Kai to take them to dungeons and show them no mercy. Is one of the reasons why Kai wasn't present at the hospital but was beyond furious for hurting Ashley and right now taking his anger out on the rouges.

Several hours passed and the beeping sign of operation bulb stopped, indication it is done. Alarick stood up immediately seeing Louis and Uncle Lionel coming out of the room, behind them other nurses were rolling Ashley's body on the stretcher.

Alarick head started ringing, he never want to lose her- his heart screamed.

Ashley was unconscious, her eyes shells were red and swollen and her arm was bandaged, so was her waist. Alarick walked up to her to take a closer look, his heavy heart, feeling more troubled seeing her worn out, dishevelled state.

No...

He doesn't want to see her like this. Alarick just wishes Ashley would open her eyes and glare at him, even say some spiteful things too, which actually were never spiteful but plain, ruthless truths.

They rolled her down to separate room and Uncle Lionel stopped Alarick,

"There was silver in her body, she could've died but thank god, it didn't get infused in her blood."

Chills ran down Alarick's spine listening to the news. Silver. Those rouges had silver coated on their fangs and claws, knowing well that it could give any werewolf a poisonous death. Though werewolves aged slow and were kind of immortal but apart from that silver was their poison. But the way they attacked only her and bite her with silver was weird like they somehow wanted to harm Ashley only but, not to point to the of death. Only weakening otherwise they would've gone directly for her heart.

Alarick couldn't look at her in this state, he marched with purpose in his mind towards dungeons. As he was close to the dungeons, he could hear hitting of someone getting louder.

Alarick entered the room and the cold atmosphere intensified, dropping to one that makes you blue. Kai backed away from the hanging rouges. The rouges have switched back to their human form now. Alarick could finally see what they look like and who they were.

They definitely did not belong to any known pack, he knows, but now the question wasn't what they wanted it was how dare they attack what's his.

-----

Sweat dripped down Alarick's bare back, his skin glistening with it which was already carved with different marks of various battles. His trousers hanging low, showing the outline of his boxers. He slumped down on the wooden chair, panting a little as the leather belt of his trousers left hanging in his right hand. The buckle painted and dripping with the blood of rouges. Only the screams of the hanging rouges echoed while their body keeps dripping with blood. Alarick didn't even flinch while Kai continued the torture. Alarick's long slender fingers rubbed down his face, wiping the sweat out of it. His pointy thump stopped near his lips as his mind remembered the lost colour of Ashley's, he bit down on his nail and got up with fury, hitting the belt against the floor marching towards the another rouge. The other prisoners moved back in fear seeing the maddening king of torture getting up with the purpose again, his sapphire eyes going golden to a weird shade of hue.
