Chapter 16: Full Moon Celebrations

It was a full moon today and many packs celebrate them by throwing lots of parties, bon-fire and so on. Ashley never had these things in her pack but in Crescent Falls, the celebrations are differently and on full blast. But, The most difficult thing about this was - choosing a dress, for events or any occasion, it made her mood sad.

Louis finally came back from his trip and when he heard about Red Mountain pack's tragedy, he felt really bad and was devastated for Ashley, his best friend.

But what shocked him the most was, the girl was always the quiet one but after one look at her and he knew something was wrong and what it was? still a mystery.

Ashley was trying on different dresses that Sarah bought to her room to get ready, together.

When Louis entered Ashley's room, she was shocked but happiness veined through her heart and ran towards him, hugging tightly

"God, I hate it but I really missed you"

A soft chuckled followed from Louis after seeing his best friend like this. Sarah sat their silently with a small smile on her face looking at them.

It's good to have a friend.

Sarah smiled sadly to herself. Though apart from Ashley, Louis was also someone who knew she was omega but what fear her more was, the more the people know, her getting exposed would be dangerous. Her safety would be in danger, because......

Sarah was brought out of thoughts when Ashley said, she was going to wear one of her dress. Louis saw her change of expression and nodded towards her and both of them discreetly walked out Ashley's room.

"You told her" was first question that Louis asked her, as Sarah remained silent, leaning against the wall, looking down and not meeting his gaze.

"Yes, she is nice person. I trust her" Sarah explained

Louis blew out large puff of air, making Sarah gulp down and go stiff, "Look, I know, she is nice person but trust is at its place and your situation at another. I'm telling you because she is an Alpha too"

Sarah's eyes widen at this new information

Oh my god- her mind screamed

Will Ashley take advantage of her or torture her and use to own benefits, now she has discovered about Sarah's situation. Sarah unconsciously started biting her nails, nervously.

Little did they know, curious Ashley followed them when they sneakily walked out of her room, she heard everything and a small smirk appeared on her face as she retreated back.

At night, Everyone was enjoying the celebration around with booze but with a passing gust of wind, Alarick's breath too hitched,

Her scent

It filled his nostrils with her delicious aroma, it was particularly different today. It was alluring, tempting and full of thunderously heart pounding. When he turned to look at her direction, she was there with Louis, looking like a goddess walking towards the crowd in her shining cocktail dress. Her black hair cascading down her back with full waves and as wind would blow, they would slide on her face, giving her a charismatic, heart-throb look.

Ashley was laughing, her full-on dimples on display, her perfectly strong, white teeth and, those luscious lips tainted with sinisterly red color lipstick. The dress hugged her curves perfectly. Her body was curvy not thin and slender like Allison. Ashley was more tanned while Allison was white and pale skinned.

Hah... I miss you, Ally – he huffed in his thoughts, remembering Allison

But his thoughts showered over Ashley like a disastrous typhoon, her face lost its smile and her pale grey eyes found its traitor, looking up on his form with a death glare.

Louis left the party after some time, on call of his father, bidding his goodbye to Ashley. Ashley was alone now, she didn't know lot of people here and even if she wants to, their judgmental gaze keeps scrutinising her emotions to downward level.

Ashley thought, she had enough of this drama for one day and was about to leave the party when someone stepped in front of her. Halting her on spot. Confused, she tilted her head to side to see the unexpected person standing in front of her. AN unknown smile broke on her face.
