Ashley's thoughts were jumbled and so were the clouds thundering outside, she was feeling very cold as she ruffled in sheets. Her heart was in turmoil and so were the rumbling clouds.
Next day Ashley woke up with a headache and all drowsy, she ruffled her hair in distress, Alarick was not next to her. Her mood was messed up, she kicked off the sheets and walked towards the bathroom.
When Ashley walked down the stairs, everybody was waiting for her at the breakfast table, all eyes on her. With a hammering headache, Ashley grabbed the coffee and sat next to Alarick, her mind making her feel foggy and disturbed. Cheryl happily walked towards her to serve the breakfast.
Cheryl was putting stack of pancakes on Ashley's plate, laughingly. Suddenly, Ashley grabbed Cheryl's hand to stop but the moment, Ashley touched Cheryl, Ashley's breath went lower and flashes and flashes of images came in front of her eyes. Ashley wasn't blinking and her grip on Cheryl tightened a little.
When Ashley's mind finally cleared out of the situation. Ashley slowly looked up at Cheryl and without thinking Ashley blurted out,
"You're pregnant?!"
Cheryl stunned in her position, the plate she was holding loosen the grip, falling down on the floor breaking into several pieces. Alpha Caleb's angry aura surrounded the atmosphere as he stood, pushing his chair behind making it fall.
Cheryl trembled a little, "What?"
"You're Pregnant" Ashley confirmed out loud
Cheryl couldn't hold her tears anymore as she ran out of the room, crying.
When Ashley realized what she said without thinking. She received questioning looks from everyone, made her sigh in regret.

Three of them were standing in Alpha Caleb's study, Ashley stood in middle of the room like a child caught misbehaving while Alpha Caleb and Alpha Alarick stood in front of her. Alpha Caleb was pacing in front of her, while her expression remained stoic.
"How dare you?" Alpha Caleb yelled, thunderously loud
Her void eyes didn't change the expression while Alarick was irked from this Alpha's behavior towards Ashley.
"Who told you, huh? Nobody knows, then how come?" Alpha Caleb asked again, trying to torment her with his pheromones, fogging around her, to dominate.
But little did he know Ashley was an Alpha too, carrying the blood of one of the strongest- Alpha Harold.
"I said what I felt" she gritted out
"Excuse me, felt" Alpha Caleb retorted questioning, quirking his eyebrow
"Yes, I felt she was pregnant" Ashley retorted back
"You really did..." an excited voice came from behind them
Cheryl was standing near the door, her eyes full of hope
"Dear, how can she? She might be lying, don't put your hope on something....." Alpha Caleb tried to convince and hold his mate
"But she said she really felt it, I mean it could be sign" Cheryl was rambling on
"I'm gonna test, if it true. Oh my god, what if it's true?" Cheryl ran towards her room with excitement.
Furious Alpha Caleb turned towards Ashley,
"What are you playing at? How did you know that? If it's a game, I'll kill you"
"No one, why would...?" Ashley tried to convince
"Then why would you say something like that knowing that we're trying for baby for almost two years now" Alpha Caleb shouted at her
