Gerard's cheeks were sore from smiling as they exited the record shop. Neither of them had bought anything, but that didn't matter. That was the most fun Gerard had had in a long time. He thought the same might be true for Frank because the guy seemed like he was definitely in some sort of child-like wonder state. He was smiling at the ground, humming the song they had danced to. The sky had dimmed considerably, which Frank suddenly seemed to take extra notice of. Pulling out his phone to check the time, he said, "Oh no. My mom's gonna kill me if I'm not home in, like, 10 minutes."
Gerard sort of laughed. "You have a curfew?"
Frank nodded. "A strict one. But I never go anywhere so usually it's not a problem." He ran a hand over his hair. "Shit, I'm not gonna make it, it's a 20-minute walk from here," he said, worriedly pulling his hand through his hair. "Well," Gerard said, thoughtfully. "I can drive."
