OK so we all know Texas is very cocky but what happens when there's no original 13 member call him out on his shit.
So me and atlas427 on Tumblr created the storyline
I'm so here's the story we created

Also I would like to state that I think it's basically canon that the original 13 think or look at some specific some younger states as children they consider them children and they treat them as such except for Utah and Vermont depending on who the state is Kentucky and Tennessee.

In a meeting all the states are there except for Hawaii. Texas is going on a rant about how he's the biggest state in the country and he's more important in another state and how he has one of the biggest populations in the country.

The original 13 are sitting there just like this kid is making a fool out of himself. Virginia looks at New York eyeing him to say something
" I bet I'm more important the New York" Texas says confidently.

Causing New York stands up stairs Texas dead in the eye and says" oh really kid well let me ask you a question did you defeat a global superpower and started your the nation?" New York yells piss off that this younger state thinks he's more important than a state that has the biggest city on the continent essentially and the economy capital of the world.

Texas stopped his rant " I was my own country for a few years in Alamo"Texas mumbles

New York looks Texas dead in the eye" what was that?" New York asked Texas looks away "nothing" Texas says as he's looking away

" that's what I thought.let me ask you one more thing Texas.who started the US?" New York asked

Meanwhile California Alaska and other states are reveling in this conversation because Texas is finally getting put in his place.

Texas still looking away from New York"You and the other original 13 states" Texas says "Exactly so don't say you're more important than the States that started this country." New York says as he sit down down then PA high-fived him
The rest of the country starts applauding New York for putting Texas in his place. Texas run leaves the room out of embarrassment.

Time skip to after the meeting
New York is sitting on the couch watching TV.
When Texas approaches New York.
New
York notice is Texas's presents
"i apologize for how i was bragging in there. i got a bit carried away" Texas said
New York looks at him and says"It's okay I understand sometimes you younger states forget."

Texas nods his head and says "yeah, i should probably say sorry to the others too. i didn't mean to take over like that" so Texas goes to apologize to the states that he made fun of everything was right in the world
