You glanced at the snowy woods, knowing no one would notice if you went but... It could be dangerous to go alone. The White Witch and everything. So with one final glance, you went out of the wardrobe and left the room, the glow in your locket slowly fading.
The next day, all of you were playing outside. Lucy was sitting under a tree since she was still a bit upset about the others not believing her. You had decided to keep her company since the other three seemed to have fun on their own.
Peter threw a ball at Edmund. "Ow!" the latter whined.
"Whoops!" Peter laughed. "Wake up, Dolly Daydream!"
"Why can't we hide and seek again?" Edmund asked. You glared at him a bit.
"I thought you said it was a kids' game," Peter answered matter-of-factly.
"Besides," Susan said, trying to lighten the mood, "we could all use the fresh air."
"It's not like there isn't air inside," Edmund said sarcastically. You couldn't help but chuckle a bit - there was air inside.
"Are you ready?" Peter asked, picking grass off the ball.
"Are you?" Edmund challenged.
Next thing you know, you heard something clatter. You and Lucy gave each other quick glances before standing up and running inside to check the damage along with the others.
"Well done, Ed," Peter said frustratedly after staring at the broken window for a bit.
"You bowled it!" Edmund accused.
You heard steps. "The Macready!" you gasped. Everyone's eyes widened as Peter ushered all of you to run. A common enemy unites even the oldest of foes, you thought.
You five were about to enter a room but steps seemed to meet you right where you were going every time. That's how you ended up in the room with the wardrobe. "Come on!" Edmund said urgently.
"You've got to be joking," Susan sighed.
The steps neared, giving you no choice. Peter was the last to get into the wardrobe. He looked through the gap in the door for a bit. "Get back!" he whisper-shouted. You felt a familiar wind hit your back and you quickly backed out before anyone could start pushing you.
Soon, the other four also tumbled into Narnia. Peter and Susan looked amazed, to say the least. "Impossible," Susan breathed.
