You heard footsteps and in panic, you closed your hands to fists. The bubble and rose burst and rained down as tiny golden snowflakes. You heaved a breath of relief and turned your gaze to the door. "Let's go eat dinner, Y/n," Susan said.
Your eyes fluttered open as you felt someone shaking you. "Y/n! Y/n, come on!"
You groaned quietly, way too tired for anything. "What is it, Lucy?"
"I'm going to see if Narnia's there! Do you want to come with?" she asked in an excited whisper, not to wake up Susan.
"Of course, whatever you wish," you muttered sleepily while pushing yourself up from the bed before quickly pulling on a set of clothes. "Let us go then."
You took a candle in one hand and Lucy's hand in the other before letting her guide you down the corridor, failing to notice the footsteps behind you. The light of the candle blew out. Your smile widened as Lucy dragged you into the wardrobe with a happy giggle. "Let's go!"
You only watched with wonder as at first, you felt the touch of fur one moment and the touch of prickly woods the next. The snow and branches crunched under your boots as you walked, the chilly wind not bothering you since your hands were starting to heat themselves up again.
"Where are we going, Lu?" you asked as you started to near a mountain.
"We're here, actually. Mr. Tumnus' cave," she smiled before knocking on the door.
