You giggled. "Don't worry, I was too."

"Are you sure you're not coming?" Edmund asked you. It had been years of peace with the five of you ruling and there had been news of the White Stag - one that would grant wishes to the ones that caught him. Currently, the four, excluding you then, were setting themselves to go.

"Yeah, I'll look over everything from here," you smiled, hinting to your spyglass. You had an unexplainable feeling of having to stay. Like this was where your ways parted. "Go on, now. I don't want to eat dinner alone."

All four of them laughed at your comment. "Yeah, Edmund! You said you could catch the Stag yourself!" Peter laughed.

Edmund scoffed at him and went off. "Take care!" you called after them, a feeling of dread taking over your senses. You missed them already. You didn't know why though, they had been gone for far longer. But you felt like this was going to be the longest.

You watched with your spyglass as the four abandoned their horses to go on on foot and then disappeared. You sighed, taking off your crown so you could massage your head. You did it when you needed to think. You thought about how they just disappeared. It worried you, your spyglass always showed everything. Well, at least in Narnia. Why would you ever have the need to look any further?

"They've gone back to their own world," a familiar voice from beside you spoke.

"Father!" you exclaimed happily, standing to give him a hug after you had fumbled your spyglass back to your belt.

"You've grown, Y/n," he nodded. "And now that they've gone, it's time for you to go too for some time."

"With them?" you asked.

"No, but you'll come back with them," he spoke softly before warmth engulfed you and everything faded away.
