You looked to Your Father, wanting to help also. He nodded. "Go on."
"Get back!" Peter yelled, drawing his sword while he ran through the stream of water. You took a few more steps and you saw why - Susan and Lucy were in a tree, wolves under it, trying to get them down and probably, kill them.
"Peter!" Lucy exclaimed with fear.
The boy pointed his sword at the two growling wolves. Maugrim seemed agitated. "Come on, Boy!" he exclaimed. "We've already been through this before." The two circled Peter, leaving you unsupervised. Since you knew it was Peter's fight with Maugrim, you conjured whips in your hands and made the other wolf stay put while Maugrim continued talking. "We both know you haven't got it in you!"
"Peter! Watch out!" Susan cried as your whips dispersed due to the fact that you didn't quite know how to use your magic yet.
Luckily, Aslan arrived and put a paw on the wolf. "No, stay away. This is Peter's battle," He told a centaur from earlier who then let everyone behind them know.
"You may think you're a king... but you're going to die... like a dog!" Maugrim jumped at Peter and they both fell down, making Susan and Lucy yell with fright. After all, they hadn't seen how Peter's sword swiftly cut into the wolf's stomach like you had.
The girls jumped down and went to their brother, pushing the wolf off of him. You walked beside them and extended a hand for Peter to take. When he did, you pulled him up. Then the siblings hugged, all of them shaken up.
Aslan let the other wolf go. "After him," He ordered. "He'll lead you to Edmund." The pack of creatures ran.
"Peter," Aslan spoke again. "Clean your sword." Peter did as he was told and then placed his sword on the ground, kneeling before Aslan who put a paw on his shoulder. "Rise, Sir Peter, Wolf's-Bane. Knight of Narnia."
Peter looked to you and his sisters, baffled. All of you gave him a smile and he turned back to Aslan. The latter seemed to smile too, nodding solemnly at the boy.
Next, Peter sheathed his sword, now more solemn and grown-up-ly. You helped Susan and Lucy pick up their things before you all went back towards the camp.
"Y/n," Susan said, making you turn your attention to her. "I'm sorry about what I said at the river."
You chuckled lightly. "It's fine. We were all about to die. You had every right to be stressed."
"I know but I let my anger get the best of me," Susan said, clearly regretting the situation.
You smiled, now looking at her. "I wasn't the calmest either if I recall correctly. As I said - it's alright." Susan nodded at you in a 'thank you' manner before Lucy caught up to you two and started happily talking about whatever.
