Comfort me

"...Hey" Jaemin said, answering the door to see Yeseul standing there, lazily leaning against the  door frame

"Hi" she responded, with a sigh of relief

"...do you need something?" He asked, a small smile playing on his lips

"Do you think you could get the doctor that you know to come and check up on my friend, i did as best as i can to help him but I think he's broken a few bones" She said Jaemin's tired eyes softened.

"Yeah...I'll give them a call and see what they say" He said nodded before opening the door wider for her, inviting her in

He reached for his phone as they both sat down beside each other on the couch. He dialled Kun straight away and within a few rings his call was answered

"Hey hyung, sorry to disturb you, would you be able to come over and just check up on my friend, he seems to have hurt himself and might have a few broken bones...." Jaemin said and a muffled voice was heard from the other side of the line but Yeseul couldn't configure words from it. Her leg began bouncing up an down with anxiety, something her body usually did as she heard Jaemin converse with Kun.

"What time do you think you'll finish the surgery?" Jaemin asked, lifting his hand up snd placing it on her thigh just above her knee, stopping her leg from bouncing in worry before he looked over at her with a comforting smile

"Yeah okay"

"Yeah that's perfect"

"Thank you so much" Jaemin said, ending the call with Kun.

"Relax a bit, love" Jaemin said before turning off his phone and placing it into the pocket of his sweatpants

"Well?" She asked standing up with him

"Kun is in a surgery for the next fee hours so he's sending his second, Taeil. He said Taeil will report to him if your friend is in a worse physical condition and he will look at him personally if thats the case" Jaemin explained and she sighed in relief, sitting back down on the couch again. Jaemin crouched down onto the floor and kneeled in front of her, making her eyes shift to his.

"Does it sting princess?" He asked as his fingers lightly trailed along the red patch on her cheek

"Hmm?" She hummed, being taken back by what he had just called her

"I asked if it hurt?" He asked once more and she slowly nodded

"Want me to kiss it be-"

"No"

"his nose isn't broken, just a few burst capillaries which is causing the bruising but it should go down soon, same for the eye area. I gave him some antiseptic for his lip injury. the only thing that is broken is his finger but i've given him a finger splint and it should be moveable in about 3 weeks. his ankle is sprained, luckily it's just severe muscle inflammation which caused his foot area to go stiff, with some rest over the next week he should be okay, he could give it time to heal before moving, i'll have some crutches sent over to the hotel tomorrow morning" Taeil said to Yeseul and Jaemin and she sighed in relief

"thank god" she said with a small smile before bowing to Taeil

"hey, while i'm here, kun asked if it was okay for me to take your bloods, the lab in New york want it over by the time you get there" Taeil said and jaemin nodded slowly as taeil gave him the usual sympathetic smile

"i'll go set upstairs, you guys take your time" he said before leaving the two

"are you sick?" she asked, unaware of his illness

"uh...yeah something like that" jaemin said, showing that he wasn't completely comfortable answering the question. she understood quickly before walking into the suite, seeing Jisung play on his phone, his broken splinted finger sticking out awkwardly while he held his phone

"Hey, how are you feeling?" She asked, sitting down on the bed beside him

"i'm alright, those painkillers really kicked in" he said with a low chuckle as he turned off his game.

"this is Jaemin, Jaemin this is Jisung, my brother-like-friend" she said with a small smile and jisung smiled back to her before turning to Jaemin

"hey, thank you for everything-"

"don't bother, i'm glad you're okay" Jaemin said and jisung smiled to him as well

"you're free to stay at the hotel as long as you need, i heard about the shark loan and rent incident" jaemin said with a sigh

"you heard about the 2 millio-" he was cut off with a loud yawn from yeseul, an obviously fake one

"jeez, its getting pretty late, you should get some rest" she said

"2 million? what happened?" jaemin asked curiously and jisung opened his mouth to answer but yeseul signalled him to keep his mouth shut

"get some rest, i wrote my number down near your nightstand so call me if you need anything" she said and he nodded as he watched her and jaemin walk out of his room. it was a tense silence as they took the elevator up to his room, it was only 9pm yet they were both incredibly tired from today's busy events

"what 2 million was he talking about? 2 million won?" jaemin asked, raising an eyebrow in question once they reached his penthouse door which jaemin opened

"please just forget it. I'll figure it out, I don't want to keep bothering you-"

"Hey, relax...i told you to come to me if you needed anything, you're not bothering me at all" he said with a smile and she sighed, stepping close to him, enveloping him in a hug once more, completely catching him off guard again that he stumbled back, but he steadied them both. His heart still raced this time around but he managed to calm himself down.

"Thank you, for everything" she whispered into his ear and the hot air touching his ear lobe made his heart pick up a beat but he had no intention of letting her go, he had no idea why or what came over him.

"Stay the night with me" he mumbled into her neck and she tried to distance herself from him, only to be pulled back even tighter.

"Jaemi-"

"Please? I need you" he said, she could hear it from his voice that he had no intention of messing with her, he was in search for comfort, comfort that only she seemed to provide him tonight.

"I..I will" she said, trying to not regret her words, and his arms loosened up a little bit. she placed a smile on her lips

"I'll stay with you" she repeated, confirming her actions more for herself than him. he pulled away from her with a bright smile on his lips, he wasn't exactly sure why she made him feel such a way, he felt queasy due to the effect it had on his heart rhythm, it was a sickening feeling nearly, yet he felt it around her a lot...and he didn't intend on not seeing her anytime soon.

"okay jae..you know the drill" Taeil said with a small smile, trying to lighten up the nervous mood from jaemin as he entered the living room

"Yeseul-ssi, do you mind grabbing a glass of water for him?" Taeil asked and she shook her head, running to the bar stand to get a glass of water for Jaemin. 

when she turned around, he saw him unbuttoning his shirt, making her almost drop the glass of water which now felt extremely heavy. as he undid every button she felt her mouth running dry, without thinking she had taken several sips from his glass, making her go back to refill it.

"here you go" she said, her voice sounding small as she tried to steer her eyes away from his, very, very prominent abs.

"thanks love" Jaemin said with a soft voice, trying to hide his smile in front of taeil as she innocently avoided him, if only he wasn't here he would be teasing her and cooing at her behaviour

"alright just relax the arms, ill just check some vitals too after i take your bloods"
