"I need better friends seriously" Yeseul mumbled as she saw Jeyi trying to stuff another marshmallow in her mouth

"Shubby bonny" she murmured

"Damn she still going what the fuck" Yedam said, completely in awe of her competitiveness

"Ayo what that mouth do?" Minhyuk chimed making Jeyi nearly lose her chance to beat the previous winner of the gave.

"Hey!" Jungwoo exclaimed from the couch where he was working from home making the group chuckle

"Oi let's go for a walk" Yedam suggested and the group fell into murmurs of agreements

"Yeah i need to buy something things, let's just go to the mall" Yeseul said in agreement

"Not driving"

"Not driving"

"Not driving"

"Not driving"

"Oh fuck you all" Yeseul groaned as she took the keys to Jungwoo's car from the coffee table

"Have fun, save money" Jungwoo said from the couch as the group soon filtered out into the hallway of the apartments

"Yo Mark, your ass is kinda nice" Jeyi pointed out eyeing the boy making him uncomfortably chuckle from the sudden attention

"Why? You jealous?" Yedam asked making Jeyi slap his arm.

Things were good, better. Yeseul and mark had ultimately become best friends and she had the most amazing times meeting up with Yedam and Minhyuk as well along with a few other of Jeyi's friends from college. She felt like herself again, but better. Of course in her heart she felt heavy, exhausted. Like the cracks were covered up with plasters but she still bled through them.

She wasn't one to understand her emotions, she was always like that. Having parents that worked more than they paid attention to her, caring about the reputation more. She was never met with true love. Only love that's given if it's advantageous. She learned to be loved that way, but she wanted a change. She knew she was worth that much.

"You're watch is beeping pretty loudly" Seori said, from the other couch as she saw Jaemin read an essay for his assignment, even though his mind was subconsciously thinking of how to get out of this situation

"Don't worry about it" he mumbled not paying much attention

"Its at 204 bea-"

"I said don't worry about it" he snapped making her close her mouth immediately and he sighed, tossing the paper onto the coffee table before rubbing the nape of his neck.

He slowly stood up from his seat and moves to the space on the other couch beside Seori

"I'm sorry-"

"No...I'm sorry...I shouldn't have snapped like that. I know you're in the same situation as me and it's not your fault" Jaemin apologised to the girl who understandingly nodded. She was also forced into marrying Jaemin, the two year relationship with her boyfriend having to be cut off.

"Still thinking about her?" Seori asked and he nodded

"I mean... a part of me just has this feeling that....we're gonna end up together...no matter what happens, no matter how much shit we go through...something about...us. But it's useless, she isn't coming back and frankly...I'm going to be married in three day" he said with a sigh and the girl hummed in response

"I'm sorry, you don't deserve this" She said with a sigh and he pursed his lips into a thin line

"Neither do you" he said softly, his mind still wandering to the one girl he genuinely wanted at this exact moment. To hug her, tell her he loved her, make her feel like she was the only one in this world for him...because she was. Leaning back onto the sofa his eyes landed on the girl who flicked through the magazines and books of bridal dresses.

"You chose which one you're gonna get?" He asked, trying to pipe up a small conversation between the two

"Uh not yet...I'm thinking of like...a mermaid kinda style though" she said and he chuckled

"Why the hell do you want a tail on your wedding day?" He asked

"No...ugh you idiot" the girl rolled her eyes as she showed him what a mermaid style dress actually looks like, the image of a white pearly mermaid tail leaving his head immediately as the shared a small laugh

"Anyway I should probably go get ready, I'll see you at the dinner right?" She asked and he nodded

"I'll call haechan to pick you up here" he said and she nodded, being close with haechan since a very young age.

She had no parents, after they passed the family business was immediately hers from a young age. She was quick to make the business magazines covers of being one of Korea's youngest CEOs, no wonder Jaemin's grandad was extremely fond of her.

"Is she ready yet?" Haechan asked, closing the front door behind him before sitting onto the couch beside Jaemin

"She's probably changing" he shrugged, continuing to flick through the magazine covers of the bridal book, his mind endlessly wandering to think about how good Yeseul would have looked in the dresses

"I'm sorry we didn't get the time to throw you a bachelor's party" haechan said as he watched the boy, a ghost of a smile lying on Jaemin's lips. Jaemin chuckled at the words before flickering his eyes up at the other boy, his pupils soon diverting back to the dresses.

"It's not what I want anyway, it doesn't matter...it's not a real marriage anyway" he said with a sigh and Haechan's smile fell slowly, feeling bad for both of his friends that had to leave their significant others to marry each other for the sake of business.

"As much as she annoys me, i kinda feel bad for Yeseul" haechan said, saying her name for the first time in a few days making Jaemin's grip on the paper tighten, his heart rate immediately picking up just at the melodious sound of the sweet name.

"How come you hated her that much? Like i get it, she's not like the rest of us but...it's not like we're that great either...what did you hate about her so much?" Jaemin inquired

"I don't know...at the start it was like...she's just some strip club dancer...i thought she only was with you for money or something. But seeing how far she's come on her own...like she's pretty famous on her own accord these days" haechan said, touching on the fact that she was pretty popular these days on SNS along with the other girls in 9ine.

"She's a lot more than just some dancer... i spent my whole life wanting to do fun things like...I don't know, bungee jumping, skiing, the stuff you guys do....but with her it was like..I didn't need to be putting my health at risk to have some fun. Simply lying in bed all day with her was fun" Jaemin said, pausing slightly to mess his hair up slightly

"I was really looking forward to getting better to do more things with her" he said and haechan hummed in response, the two completely unaware of Seori who was scheming a plan in her head. After a few moments of silence between the two, she walked out in a good outfit, getting their attention. She bid Jaemin a goodbye as she left with Haechan to go dress shopping.
