"Okay....Okay I understand now" Jeyi said nudging Yeseul as she saw Jeno enter the living room in the middle of the movie

"Shut up Jeyi"

"What he's hot- OW"'she exclaimed as Yeseul slapped her thigh before standing to greet Jeno, Jeyi was met with a pouty faced Jungwoo

"Hey, i brought some...beer" he said, his smile falling as he saw the cans spread over the floor and Yeseul smiled

"Thank you, we would have been all out after tonight if it wasn't for you" She said and he smiled, helping her stack the cans into the fridge as the rest resumed the movie

"I'm sorry, the insisted I invite you over an-"

"Its fine, the other option was to go to a business dinner and see Jaemin...which I'm not quite ready for yet" he said

"What excuse did you say to get out of it" she asked sipping on her beer

"Haemorrhoids" he joked, he could almost swear he saw the drink coming out of her nose making him burst out laughing

"Keep it down!" Jungwoo complained and they muffled their snickers

"Wanna head back?" She asked and he nodded. They both made their way to the group and since the couches were taken they opted for the floor, leaning their backs against the couch

She was sat in Jeno's lap as he wrapped a fluffy blanket around them two, stealing a handful of popcorn from Jeyi before they got comfortable

"You good?" He asked and she nodded, sinked her back into his chest as he wrapped his arms around her, enjoying the warmth she had given them.

"Can we even do stuff like this when we're not a couple?" She asked and he chuckled

"Let's just call them Platonic cuddles" he said, smiling into her neck as the smell of her perfume encapsulated him.

"You're an idiot" she old woman said, pausing her knitting session as she looked up at her grandson who had a small smile on his face

"You only come see me when you have problems" she grumbled

"Ah~ thats not true, I've just been busy" Jaemin pouted at his grandmother. He had went to visit her in the nursing home, realising it had been a while since they've spoke.

"Busy doing what? Playing with a girl's feelings?" His grandmother retorted, hitting him with the knitting needle lightly making him fake cry

"You're supposed to be on my side" he whined

"How can i be? I didn't raise you to do such stupid things!" She said with a scoff and he sighed sitting into the chair beside her

"It was a mistake, i was drunk an-"

"Tch. You're not even meant to drink with your illness, Jaemin-ah, how many mistakes can you make in a day?" She asked with a pissed off expression and he sighed once more

"I don't know what to do anymore" he said, pinching the bridge of his nose

"Here's what you do, you go to her house with some floors, get on your knees and keep saying sorry until she acce-"

"This isn't post world war period, that won't work" He argued

"You'd be surprised...it took your grandad 4 full days of apologising to me before i ever talked to him again" She said, continuing her knitting

"4 da- Jesus... what were you so upset about?" He asked

"He forgot my birthday" she said casually while Jaemin smiled. He always knew his grandparents were super close and loving. His grandad visited her often at the nursing home nearly every day to make sure she was doing fine and taking her medication. He was always envious of their love and their relationship, that's what he wanted, the 'grow old together' type of love.

"Take care grandma, I'm going home" he said, hugging his grandmother goodbye as he picked up his suit jacket. His phone eventually rang with business calls as he drove towards the hotel where the business party was being hosted.

"Hello, nice to see you again"

"Are you enjoying your champagne"

"I don't have any plans on marriage at the moment"

"I personally feel that government intervention regarding that issue would be best compared to corporation advancements of-"

"Sorry sir, your grandfather asked for you" Jaemin's assistant said, interrupting the conversation he was having with some director of a company he had completely forgotten the name of

"I'm sorry, please excuse me for just a moment" he said to them politely, bowing before turning around to Dahyun, walking away from them

"What did he need?" He asked

"Nothing, i thought you just needed to get out of that conversation before you said something stupid" she snickered

"Ah...you know me so well" he mumbled, walking towards his grandfather

"Do i really have to stay here for the whole thing?" He asked with a small wine to his grandfather

"No of course son, go home and take care of your wife, she must be waiting for you"

"I don't...have a wife"

"Exactly, so yes, you need to stay here for the whole thing" His grandfather said, deadpanning him

"On another note, when will you actually get married? I'm not getting any younger and frankly you're not getting any healthier, do you want my company to die along with me? When are you going to give me an heir to my company" his grandfather asked and Jaemin sighed

"I know you're going to throw a temper tantrum but i had My secretary set up blind dates with the most prestigious single women your age in seoul-"

"Grandpa~"

"The list will be sent to Dahyun, get married by the end of next month" he said before they were interrupted by more guests in the party. With a slight scowl on his face, Jaemin went towards Renjun and Haechan who were drinking wine and laughing at something in hopes to bring his mood back up
