"Zhong Yeseul" she replied sheepishly and the reverend smiled
"Do you Zhong Yeseul take Na Jaemin to be your lawfully wedded husband? To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and not so good times, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto him for as long as you both shall live?" He spoke and Yeseul looked at Jaemin, the brightest smile on his face and she couldn't help but to match his.
"I do" she said, smiling through tears that were falling onto her cheeks. Jaemin wasted no time in wiping them off with a loving expression.
A small girl tugged her wedding dress making her look down at her, kneeling to her level when she sees the two rings
"You look like a princess" she said cutely with a smile, even though she was too young to understand the situation, she knew they were happy tears
"She is isn't she?" Jaemin said making a few people in the crowd aww at them.
Yeseul stood back up, slipping the sleek silver ring onto his finger.
"Wrong hand babe" he chuckled making the crowd laugh as she glared at him, taking the ring off his right hand and placing it onto the ring finger on his left hand before looking back to the reverend
"Do you Na Jaemin take Zhong Yeseul to be your lawfully wedded wife? To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and not so good times, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto him for as long as you both shall live?"
"I do" Jaemin said, without hesitation or a shadow of a doubt, slipping the ring onto her finger, hoping that it didn't fall off but surprisingly it was a good enough size
"Dear Family and Friends, Today we are here together to unite Na Jaemin and Zhong Yeseul in marriage. If you object please speak now or forever hold your peace"
"This is ridiculous who is-"
"Literally no one cares oh my god"
"Your opinion is so irrelevant"
"Can you go back to sitting down and being quiet?"
The statements of Haechan, Jeyi and Renjun immediately made the crowd snicker as the man slowly sat back down into his seat, regretting ever standing up in the first place.
"By the power vested in me by the State, I shall now pronounce you husband and wife." The reverend said and Jaemin turned to him expectantly
"I'm waiting" he whispered to the reverend only to get a small smack on his arm from Yeseul.
"You may now kiss the bride" the reverend spoke and Jaemin did not have to be told twice.
"I love you Zhong Yeseul" he whispered before placing both his hands on the sides of her cheek, lifting her face to meet his lips with a passionate kiss that meant more than the world to him, and the two couldn't help but smile into the kiss, knowing that they have created chaos.
"I love you too Jaemin" she whispered back, connected their lips back into a kiss making the crowd stand to their feet and clap
"THIS IS NOT HAPPENING!" An angry voice said from behind Jaemin and Yeseul nervously stepped back from Jaemin as she saw his grandfather angrily approach her
"Hold on tight, and don't look back" Jaemin said, interlocking their hands as he darted down the aisle with her, her dress and veil flowing from her movements. And she never looked back. The cheers were even louder when she met her friends outside and she couldn't help but smile
"Seori, catch!" She shouted, throwing the flower bouquet towards the girl who was happily reunited into her boyfriend's arms
"Enjoy the honeymoon!" Seori shouted back as she watched a taxi pull up in front of the two that Jaemin had signalled for
"Get in quick!" Jaemin said, ushering her into the car to make it away from his grandfather as quickly as possible
"I can't believe we just...oh my god!" She said with a laugh and he laughed with her
"Newly weds or wedding runaways?" The taxi driver asked and they chuckled
"A bit of both" Yeseul responded, adrenaline surging through her veins
"Where to sir?" The man asked
"SongJin nursing home please" he replied and Yeseul turned to him with wide eyes
"Nursing home?" She asked and he nodded
"I want you to meet someone" he said
"But...dude I'm in a wedding dress!" She exclaimed
"Its okay, you look perfect" he said, planting a small kiss onto the top of her head
"I can't believe we just did that" she said and he chuckled
"Well believe because we have a three day reservation at paradise city" he said with a smirk, the infamous spa resort making her blush.
"You're telling me you were going to go to a spa resort with another girl?" She asked through her blush trying to tease him and his smile fell
"Uh..." he was at a loss for words at the way she twisted the moment and she chuckled
"I'm just kidding, Seori was really nice" she said, leaning her head onto his shoulder
"I don't care, you're better" he chuckled planting another kiss onto her head
"I was thinking about what the reverend said...about the whole 'in sickness and in health' thing" she said, reaching her hand to his to play with his fingers
"Mmh" he hummed in response as she thought of the right words to say
"I know it wasn't a real marriage but...I really will love you...in sickness and in health" She said and he smiled softly at her
"I told you I was going to marry you" he whispered and she chuckled
"Well to be honest, you wouldn't have married me if I didn't come today" she said and he playfully scoffed
"What are you saying? I was gonna fake a heart attack and come see you tonight" he said and she giggled
"Luckily you didn't have to fake the heart attack" she said
"Yes luckily...but i swear my heart skipped a- several beats when I saw your face" he smiled, reminiscing at the way their eyes met through the veil
"Stay with me forever this time okay? Let's not run away, let's face the problems. Whatever the world throws at us to keep us apart let's face it...together" he smiled and she looked up at him with a nod
"Always and forever" she said sticking out her pinky
"I knew you were into vampires" he joked at the phrase she had used and she rolled her eyes
"Always and forever" he whispered, connecting their pinkies together to promise each other the world. And from now on, it really was them against the world.
