Hand prints

"Okay but listen, if we don't do this now, when will we?" Yeseul asked Jeno with a pleading look as she tugged on his jacket. She went to visit him at SM and they both were staring at the golden hand prints wall when Yeseul remembered that she had done something similar when she was in school. The fact that Jeno had also done it only made her want to go more.

"Okay fine fine, but its a long ass drive" he said

"Come on, we'll take the KTX instead, it'll be fun!" She said said and he finally gave into her whines

"Hey, have you talked to Jaemin since-"

"Nope, we are not talking about that irrelevant jerk face today" she said blocking her eyes as she walked in-front of him to the entrance.

They walked to the train station and Jeno bought them both tickets for the train. It was still early in the daytime and the two didn't have much to do today anyway, so a fun trip around Busan for a day didn't seem like the worst idea.

"Ah this song is everywhere" Yeseul said under her face mask, after a few of the scenes she shot with Kai were released in the music video, fans have been blowing up the internet regarding who the hell she was. As much as the recognition was good for her in the future, she wasn't used to having all that attention on her in a long time. SM urged the girls to wear face masks and hide themselves as much as possible while there were rumours surfacing since they wouldn't be accompanied by SM body guards.

"Let's get some lunch when we get there after we go to the hand print hall" Jeno said and she nodded

"What do you feel like eating?" She asked

"Samgye-tang" Jeno said with a sigh, placing his arms in his pockets as he imagined eating the soup in this cold weather.

"I haven't had a good chicken broth in ages" she mumbled, following his actions with her own hands.

The train soon came and their 3 hour ride was mainly filled with watching an old chinese movie, cuddled up against each other on the seats they had rushed to find. While her head was on his shoulder, his head leaned against hers until he fell asleep in that position. Yeseul endured an hour of the uncomfortable position until she heard they were approaching the stop, she shook the boy awake and they both exited the train.

"Ah, its so sunny here" she said, her eyes over looking the haeundae beach just blocks away from them

"We should go surfing in the summer" she suggested, knowing that it was a very popular thing to do in busan although she herself had never done it.

"I went with Jaemin once, it was pretty fun" Jeno chimed

"I told you not to bring up the jerk face" she said with a slight glare

"Well I'm sorry that jerk face just so happens to be my best friend" Jeno sighed with a chuckle

"Come on let's go" Jeno said, wrapping his arm around her shoulders as she leaned onto him slightly.

"You can't lie and tell me what he did isn't rude" she pouted

"It was rude, very rude. But he's stressed, you should try to understand it from his perspective, even i would have lashed out if my ex came back to me and said she might be pregnant with my kid" Jeno said

"Well two things, firstly he shouldn't have done it in the first place if he knows the consequences, and secondly how many times do I have to see it from his perspective? When will he ever think about what i could be feeling?" She said and Jeno sighed

"You're right...just try to give him some space and let him come to you when he needs someone to be there for him again" Jeno said

"But what about when i need someone?"

"Then you have me, after all isn't that what we're doing here?" Jeno asked and she opened her mouth to disagree but he cut her off

"I know its hard for you to admit that you're sad and you need someone to make you feel better, I'll always be that someone if you want me to be" Jeno said and she looked at him, sun rays piercing into his eyes showing his chocolate colours eyes

"I really want to kiss you right now but I don't wanna make this weird, I'll settle on a hug instead" she said making him chuckle as she connected her body with his, kissing his neck before leaning her head onto his shoulder.

"Here you go, Lee Jeno and Zhong Yeseul" the worker said giving them the painted hand prints they did when they were kids in primary school. There was a building in busan near all the schools which collected a hand print of a child at the age of 5, the kids soon grow up and  come back after ten years to stamp their hand print beside their baby print, showing how much they've grown into adults.

"Oh my god, was my hand really that small?!" She exclaimed looking at the tiny hand print on her page with a poem above it.

"This is gonna be nostalgic" Jeno mumbled as he saw the tray of paint, one red tray and one blue tray and the two turned to look at each other with a cheeky grin

"Wanna make purple?" Jeno asked and she nodded excitedly, both of them placing their hands on the paint tray before rubbing their hands with each other, being as discreet as possible so the workers didn't notice. They planted their new and much bigger hand prints beside their baby ones, a proud smile worn on their faces as they saw the size difference. They soon gave it to the workers to dry and were told that they would get these framed and posted to their houses. After finishing up they went to get some lunch before heading back home, the wholesome day being filled with cuddles for the whole train ride.
