"Seori, why are you still in jeans?" Yeseul said softly, kneeling in-front of the girl who was crying her eyes out infront of the vanity mirror
"Yeseul...I can't do this!" She cried
"What..what do you mean?" She asked
"I...I can't imagine being with anyone but my boyfriend...I don't want to do this" she cried, the door quickly opening for a boy to come through, handing her a glass of water and a tissue
"Don't cry baby its okay-"
"No its not! How is it okay?!" she shouted and Yeseul sighed
"I'm sure Jaemin won't mind if you two continue to see each other even though you're married" yeseul said, trying to reason with her
"No...I don't want that...i just want to be fucking happy with the people who I genuinely love...is that too much to ask for?" She cried into the shirt of the boy
Happiness and love, the two things everyone in this world was striving to find. Did it even exist?
A few moments of silence ensued and Yeseul's eyes landed onto the dress on the bed, the dress she specifically tried on that day.
"Seo-"
"Please Yeseul...you know he loves you-"
"No i-i...I can't...I'm sorry" she said, standing up, her heart thumping in her chest as she saw Jeno enter the room slowly after over hearing the direction of where the conversation was going
"I can't...marry him"
"You won't actually be marrying him...just walk down the aisle, keep the guests happy...it'll be over before you know it" Seori said trying to reason with her
"Dont do anything you don't want to okay? But whatever you choose to do, I'm here for you" Jeno said, with a trusty eye smile
"This is fucking crazy" she said, laughing at the serious moment to try and cope
"Please Yeseul...do me this one favour" Seori asked pleading her and she sighed
"Ah..screw it..just keep his grandfather far away from me, i value my life" she said to Jeno and he nodded as the group around her rejoiced. With a quick phone call to haechan, Jaemin was left wondering why his best men left in a hurry all of a sudden.
"You should probably go for your entrance, the crowd has filled up" the dresser said and he nodded, following the staff to the main hall where the wedding was to be held.
The guests clapped as he made an entrance, bowing to the guests in fancy dresses with a smile that he could muster up. His confusion only grew further when he reached the end of the aisle, stepping onto the raised platform, seeing his friends and grandfather anywhere but there. He shot mark, who was in the crowd, a small glance but he only returned a confused one back
"Hey, sorry for the hold up" Renjun apologised
"Where were you guys?" Jaemin asked through a small smile
"Uh..just fixing our hair" haechan lied, and the fact that they had "accidentally" led his grandfather into a conference room and "accidentally" locked the door was unbeknown to Jaemin
Jaemin ignored the cheeky grins from the two as he stood in his place, greeting the reverend, waiting for his bride to come. Yet a few minutes had passed and the crowd grew increasingly worried about where the bride was
"Is this thing even on right?" Yeseul asked nervously as she tried to fix her tiara
"Yeseul, look at me...breathe." Jeyi said, she was soon brought into the bridal room to help her best friend as best as she could, knowing that she would kick herself if she was to ever miss out on this fiasco.
"You look amazing" Seori said, using her hands to pull down the veil infront of her face, making sure that the guests wouldn't be suspicious from the very beginning of the wedding.
"I don't feel so good" she mumbled as she walked hand in hand with Jeno towards the entrance doors which were closed
"You're gonna be okay-"
"What if i fall?" She asked, eyes shaking due to the pressure and anxiety building up inside her
"You won't. If you do i will help you...and proceed to laugh at you but I'll help you" he said and she glared at him
"Okay but what if-"
Before she could finish her sentence the doors had opened. Her hands immediately tightened around Jeno's arms but he reassuring patted them
"Focus on him" Jeno whispered and she nodded, doing exactly that. She didn't pay attention to the crowd, she didn't need to. She couldn't see the boy through her veil, she was quite nervous to anyway. The crowds mumbles of awws went unheard by her. Here she was, walking down the aisle towards the man she swore the universe might never let her be with...but at this moment, nothing else mattered.
It was just him and her. Nothing else.
Jaemin was confused why Jeno had to walk Seori down the aisle, almost swearing that it was someone else who did it for the wedding rehearsal he was late for. He tried to keep his composure, knowing the seats were crowded with nosy guests all waiting to peep a look at the two to-be-weds.
With a small smile Jeno had approached the end of the aisle, a bigger smile on Renjun and Haechan's face as it landed on how beautiful the girl was even though her face was covered
"You owe me big time Jaem" Jeno whispered passing Yeseul's hand to Jaemin. Without expressing his confusion, he faced the girl. Eyes trying to peer through the veil yet he couldn't see much. And it wasn't until his eyes landed on the red heart tattoo that everything finally made sense. Without hesitating any further, he unveiled her.
The two stood there in silence as the crowd grew with a few murmurs and whispers on who the girl was.
"Yeseul" Jaemin whispered, unable to control his smile
"I got the wedding invitation in the mail today" she whispered back and he chuckled
"Glad you could make it" he said with a wink, as they both turned to the reverend who had a confused but small smile on his face.
"If you could just skip the formalities and get to the part where i kiss her, that would be greatly appreciated"
