I'd been out for a run, needing to clear my head after the awful nights sleep I'd had.
As I pulled my earbuds out I found Steve waiting by his door. Immediately my mood shifted, just seeing him was enough to bring a smile to my face.
"Hey, Fury tell you about the mission?" I asked as I walked towards him.

He held up a plastic bag filled with takeout containers. "Yep, but I got Chinese food if that makes it better?"

"Depends."

"On what?" He almost sounded worried.

I smiled at him. "Did you get hot sauce?"

"Of course." He held up the bottle in his other hand.

"Give me five minutes. I need a shower."

I quickly went into my room, ignoring the butterflies in my stomach at the thought of spending more time with him.
I pulled out one of Bucky's shirts and a pair of leggings, if we were gonna be up all night I was going to be comfortable.

I jumped in the shower, getting clean as quickly as I could. Giving my teeth a quick brush I chucked my hair up into a messy bun before getting dressed.
I grabbed a pack of beer out of my fridge before heading to Steve's room.

"Vanilla?" I called out as I walked in, making sure to lock the door behind me.

"Not in!"

I walked further into his room, taking in how pristine clean it was. I rolled my eyes, finding him placing takeout containers across the small dining table in the corner.
"I got beer!" I called out, smiling as I walked over to him.

How is it fair that he looks so good in everything?

He was only wearing a t-shirt and grey sweatpants but I couldn't help the way my legs clenched together at the sight of him.
He took the pack of beer from me, pulling out a cold bottle from the small fridge in the corner.
"Me too."
I shook my head, trying to clear away the less than innocent thoughts that are wracking through my mind.

I took the beer from him, kissing him on the cheek completely unsure of what else to do. He smiled at the gesture before heading over to the dining table.
We both began to eat in silence, neither one of us daring to break the silence. As I place a spoonful of food into my mouth, I pick up one of the files piled up on the table.
"So, what we got?" I asked with a mouth full of food.

"A lot of nothing so far." He admitted.

I pulled more files out, quickly realising there was nowhere near enough room on the table for all the information we needed to get through. I picked everything up before laying it out on the floor at the foot of his bed. Steve soon got the hint and moved the food before grabbing the pillows off his bed. He chucked them on the floor so we had something soft to sit on.

We settled in, both of us looking through different files trying to piece together what was going on with the remnants of Hydra. We'd systematically taken out most of their bases since Bucky joined us, but there were still a few we were yet to locate.
I held up a pancake roll in between my chop sticks smiling at Steve.
"Load me up."

He placed a dollop of hot sauce on the top as he shook his head at me. "You're so weird."

"And yet you keep coming back." I smirked before taking a bite of the food.

Steve shook his head, but I could see the smile hiding behind his eyes. The same one he gets when he calls me a brat, he was enjoying the back and forth between us even if he didn't want to admit it.
"Grab that file over there and see what you think." He gestured with his chopsticks to the file he was referring to.
