mike wasn't sure who it was that el left it with the other night, but he hasn't seen her since at the club.

he wasn't sure if it was because he yelled at her or because of the man that came in.

either way, he couldn't care less about it, just that the club was missing a few usual customers.

but when three days passed, he was frustrated as to why she didn't show up without a notice.

she just left.

"lucas!" mike shouted for him in the office of his company building and not the club.

lucas walked in, "yes, your majesty?" he grinned, throwing the nickname mike didn't enjoy at him.

mike ignored him and just rolled his eyes. "is el back at the club yet?"

"not that i know of, no," he responded.

"you got her address?" mike asked him and lucas nodded, "it's on her form."

"run down to see if she is there, if not go find her," mike grumbles, throwing a file at the stack at the edge of his desk, making some fall down.

"mary, clean his files up," lucas demanded mikes assistant before giving a nod at mike and going to obey his instructions.

"don't throw my shit away," mike scolded as mary nodded, "sorry, mr wheeler."

"it's sir to you," mike grumbled, "get out, you're messing up my shit,"

she nodded and stood up before rushing out of his office to leave him alone.

"fucking idiot," mike stood up, rolling his eyes as he headed for the wall where his book shelf was.

he placed his hand on the brown book, then pressed the button inside of it before entering the secret room he built in.

sitting down on the couch inside, he ran a hand through his hair before he changed out of the suit he had on to another from his rack of clothes.

entering the password to his safe, he took out his watch then replaced the one on his wrist before he exited the room.

"she's there," lucas said, "went down to check, but she's snappy."

"what the fuck does she snappy mean? she can't even meet my gaze half the time,"

"oh she smacked some bitch across the face," lucas said casually which made mike narrow his eyebrows at him before pushing past him to head down to the club himself.

once he arrived at the club, he entered his office whilst calling el and the other girl that he didn't know was named lindsay till just now into his office.

"mr wheeler, it wasn't me!" lindsay tried to beg him for her job back since lucas fired her. "she started it!"

"i started it?" el echoed and stood up from across mikes desk.

he pinched his nose bridge and sighed. he had never seen el be so fired up over something and he for sure didn't enjoy it.

"yeah you fucking did!"

"you don't go through someone's locker, lindsay. i'm sick of your shit and i dont fucking care if you guys don't welcome me but you had no right breaking in and destroying my stuff!" el shouted, not screaming but only raising her voice.

honestly, mike was wondering how she wasn't screaming and slapping lindsay again.

he would if anyone ever touched his shit.

"lindsay, shut up," mike said before she could speak, "pack up your shit and get out. i better not see you here every again either,"

"but—!"
