ACT 9 | JUST A FRIENDLY DATE

Twisting the door knob I opened the door but stopped midway deciding to look at my face once again on the mirror next to me on the wall.. Oh perfect a pimple on the day i am supposed to look good..

"Damn you.." Rubbing my hand over the pimple i decided to ignore it.. I adjusted my hair one last time turning back to face the door twisting it open.. What greeted me did surprised me..

"Oh hey Ash.." Cynthia greeted leaning to her jeep looking at me raising her hands to greet me forcing me to remember what i said to her that day.. Today at library stairs right? Because thats what i remember..

"Wait! Didn't we agreed to meet at central library?"

"I sent you a message didn't I? Also come here and help me unload this.." She opened the back door of the jeep revealing some rods and other stuff laying in there.. I walked toward it as she pulled one rod out..

"It was laying around in my apartment, thought it would come in handy to you.." She pulled out a empty leather punching bag out of the car toward me.. I looked at the rods when it started to make sense. It was stand for the punching bag..

"You could have told me. I could have bought it.." I felt a little weird about it. She patted my head grabbing the other rods and walking in the house after I opened the door.. Carefully entering and trying not to break anything inside we reached to the park..

"It was in perfect condition and i don't use it nowadays anyway.. Don't feel indebted. I am just letting you borrow it." She adjusted the two stands. I helped her balance the rods as she connected the screws and tightened them holding it in one corner of the park..

"All right Garchomp.. You better not be sleeping girl.." She threw her pokeball into air, the ball bursted open with the said dragon slowly descending from the sky in front of her looking around finding them at their apprentices house..

"So did you practised today or slacked off because we were going out?" She asked me placing her hands on her waist looking at me expecting a yes.. Yeah i did..

"I did the basic stretching and exercise with Charizard.. Not too sure about serious one.. Charizard managed to do thunder punch 5 out of 10 times.. As compared to 2 out of 10 times yesterday, i would call it a growth right?" I said as she nodded her head..

"Close your eyes.. Low level Sandstorm Garchomp.." Garchomp created a sandstorm that surrounded her body with particles of sand among the storm.. At first it looked just like a normal sandstorm but slowly it started to turn into a twister.. The sand swirled around the small vortex in front of Garchomp..
