ACT 32 | LATE NIGHT WINDS

"Things are never quite as scary when you've got a best friend." He had one too.. The best one he could ever ask for.. Not once in his life but twice and he wasn't able to preserve any one of them..

"Is this part of the trail too?"

Both of the males made their way through the dense forest cover ignoring the bruises being inflicted upon them by the trees.. Hundreds of wounds scraped their arms and face leaving trail of blood and weird plant material onto them itching their body...

"As if I know.. How on earth did she got kidnapped by a sleuth of Ursaring.. We weren't in their territory anyway. I checked for the claws marks and there weren't any in a mile radius... It must be a trail then, professor told the pokemon here are trained and won't hurt humans.." He said jumping over a broken tree looking left and right like a lost kid searching for his parents.. His ears trying to catch any of the faintest sound ij clue of her...

It was a excruciating task... It was supposed to be a simple task but every next step got complicated then easier and here they were... Searching for any clue for her..

"Look at this.. These marks. They went in that direction and the tree is still bleeding which means.." He rose his head looking into his brown eyes...

"They are close Calem.. We got to go.." Ash dashed toward that direction following the claw marks on the trees with his best friend following him behind grabbing his pokeball trying to stay vigilant.. It was scary for them.. They were just ten year old being thrown into here in middle of night to complete a task.. The task was done but the three man team was broken into two now..

And both of them knew.. Leave no man behind.. Ash cursed slipping onto the ground, he rolled down grabbing the wet ground with mud embedding it into his nails making him disgust in the unhygienic thing they were doing... Calem leaned down next to him placing his hands over his mouth pointing to the sky...

"Grrrr.." A loud growl from somewhere nearby and far at same time.. Both of them slowly rose their head from the bushes looking at the Ursarings 100 yards away.. Both of them relased a sigh of relief. Their smell was already covered in various other plants covering up their scent and they were more than 30 yards away...

"Ursarings can hear upto 30 yards right? I guess we are safe.." Ash asked Calem who gripped his pokeball thinking of a plan... Being the schemer he had been he formed a plan within minuites which would cause them the least damage..

"Pokemon won't hurt humans.. Thats a tall order.. You haven't forgot about the Steelix last night right? There is no guarantee to anything.." Calem looked at Ash remembering the last night incident making both of them reconsider the easy way...
