"What the hell.. That attack should have blown you to shreds by now..." Masked man mumbled as Ash spat a massive chunck of whatever bloody thing was in his mouth.. The chunk of blood came out splashing onto the ground as Ash wiped his face... He wasn't too sure if he should be happy or sad at it... He tensed for a moment looking at the black blood but for now, he had something else to deal with...
"What can I even say. I am just built different.."
He stumbled over toward his fire tyle.. The blood on his face dried off after staying in this close contact with his Mega Charizard who landed next to him flapping its mighty wings... It was Chairzard's first complete mega evolution where he had a complete control over himself... Every single time in past, be it during the exchange event or the first time he was able to mega evolve, it was either a half mega evolution or a 90 percent one...
That 90 percent one was when he went on a pure rampage and couldn't be stopped even with combined effort of all pokemon of Cynthia and in the end calming down after a almost death match between Garchomp and him... None of them could walk for weeks after that battle... But this time, he felt a little confident in his abilities for now...
Maybe it was expected to an extent... Mega Charizard X has a complete different type.. It acquire dragon type so it meant its entire biology change from fire to dragon type... But type Y has same typing.. It was just a simple mega evolution... Mega evolving into a complete different type is purely based on your skill as a trainer or your bond with your pokemon and Cynthia doubted there were a lot of trainers who could do it... Maybe even she would have a problem with Mega evolving a charizard...
Charizard for now was more controlled and primal.. With his massive wing span flaring open, he charged at the clone with a mega punch who responded in kind. Silently a murderous glow surrounded the enclosed fist of the two pokemon who lunged at each other.. The two attack met with none of the two pokemon wanting to pull back.. The clone faced the monstrous power of the Charizard who in return faced his same power... It was a shitty outcome Ash was unaware of till now...
"Give me all of your pain charizard.. I will take it.. Our primary focus is to keep them away from onion fairy and regroup back with Cynthia..." Ash snapped his finger as if he gained enlightenment while he stood on one side of the lake almost burnt down to pure ashes... His muscles were aching from a strange tiredness but he still managed to keep his stoic gaze not wanting to show his vulnerable side to anyone...
Charizard was dependant on him.. He needed to be strong if he wanted to win and protect them...
