ACT 57 | INVERSE

Ash always found battling to be something he was naturally attached to even as a kid... He liked it.. Seeing pokemon and trainers give their best to get to the top... But unlike rising to the top theme, he was here betting on his life for something even he wasn't aware of... This time his focus was on staying alive... Ash wasn't a kid with hero complex who would fight for the cause of world peace and shit...

He was driven all by his personal motives...

His focus of attention was only on one thing.. To keep his pokemons safe... His eyes scanned the cave in front of him with spallter of blood smeared onto the wall and bodies laying in front of him, the thick smell of blood and the humidity in the cave suffocating him and then at the Mega Aggron in front of him...

"Forgive you? Do you know how much damage you caused to us... That one factory produced in millions.. All thanks to you, we have to cooperate with the Galaxy? Galactic bastard to cover up the losses..." The trainer of the Aggron stated blankly looking at Ash clenching his stomach after enduring violent kicks from the rest of the two trainers who were gone...

Of course he knew.. Ash was bad at maths but he knew how to add and substract... It was in hundred millions if he include the building and area around it too which he burnt down to dust...

"Why hurt the people who aren't a part of it? They did nothing wrong.. Not in Kanto, not in Johto neither here...." Ash asked looking at the man who adjusted his hair... Tilting his head to his left, the man looked at Ash with his boots pressing onto his chipped katana...

"Why not? As long as I am having fun who cares..." He really wanted to pummel his face badly and turn it into something no one would want to become.. He lost the admin but losing this guy seemed like it could cost him a lot... The other two too...

"Where are those two?"

He slowly adjusted his tied hands behind him trying to break free from the ropes but no avail.. They were too strong and so were their pokemons... Cynthia wasn't lying when she said admins are pain in ass.. The battle raged for over an hour with his Ninetail gaining some serious injuries but so did the Aggron.. Just when the two pokemons were at the brink of collapsing the man used his trump card healing of the injuries restoring the complete HP of the pokemon who now stood in front of him...

"They said there was a brat who was on the top freeing the pokemons... I suppose they went to see what the hassle was about..." Ash's force on the rope lightly increased.. He just needed time.. He needed to talk about anything to get it... He needed to get to her at any rate...

"A cute pokemon it is... Alolan and Hisuian pokemon are sold for a heavy price in market you know..." The man leaned in front of the Ninetail laying on the ground covered in bruises running his hand over its white fur covered in blood.. Ash's teeth's gritted in frustration ignoring his index finger's nail breaking down in a attempt to open the knot... The sensitive skin of his nail came in contact sending a wave of pain in his entire hand which shivered in pain...

"Keep your hands off her..."

He warned... The man slowly turned and faced him with a amused expression... Not a lot of people would place their pokemons above themselves in a life-death situation... Humans could go to any extent to live.. The man slowly walked toward him whose finger slipped inside the knot slowly pulling it away.. The man's attention went to his belt having two other intact pokeballs holding a grin that sent a unsettling feeling in Ash's body...

"We were told your Charizard is quite a catch... Something like the experiment of Mew's clone..." Ash stayed like that even if the knot was finally opened.. Mew's clone? Mewtwo.. Didn't Red released his Mewtwo years ago in a mutual contract of the pokemon agreeing to help him if he needed it... Anything possessing that much power in the hands of rockets meant a disaster... Almost like that time in Unova where N messed with Reshiram.. Why did he compared that thing to Charizard?
