He looked around the locker room one last time finding no around and decided it to be a perfect time to change clothes. He grabbed his shirt pulling it away wearing up the winter gym uniform not the jersey one for summer over himself pushing the uniform in his locker hoping no one would pester him..

His tatoo covered up his whole shoulder and it would be a problem if someone saw it.. He adjusted his hair walking out to the gym class finding the students standing around the centre waiting for the command from the gym teacher who was busy talking with someone..

Today's day was rather important for them. Their gym partners for next year would be decided today by drawing out a slip from the massive glass jar in front of them.. He stood on the sidelines looking at the kids busy with themselves talking about the tournament whose guidelines were officially slammed on the notice board today..

A new additional rule was introduced which Marnie didn't told Ash about. The top 15 of the tournament will get a scholarship, now it made sense to Ash why Korrina didn't wanted to battle or get to the exchange event either.. She just wanted the scholarship..

"All right kids, spar among yourselves. I have a little job to do. Don't cause too much trouble or something and we will choose the gym partners later on after i return.." The teacher walked away leaving everyone in their talks and thoughts..

Majority of the students took upto the teacher's offer helping each other stretch out each other in pair while he silently stood there closing his eyes.. What Cynthia told him this morning about combination moves went over his head.. He thought you just had to give two commands together and give them a fancy move but it wasn't like that. You have a special new move but it wasn't the case..

You can't come out of nowhere naming a move flare heat and expect charizard to use flare blitz and overheat together. It won't work...

The effect it has on the pokemon's nervous system is quite dangerous.. Cynthia told Ash about the time she told her Gabite to do a combination move which ended up injuring her Gabite more of the recoil than the opponent.. They tried it with Charizard after big breaks in between and it was true.. Using thunder punch and fire punch hurted his hands like hell..

And Ash felt a little of the pain. It was like a whole bottle of HCL being dropped onto your hands... And it was more useless than it was useful.. She told him the more the powerful the combination move is like if he used flare blitz and overheat together it will end up overheating the nervous system of his charizard..

But since he is a charizard it might be a little less painful but for any other pokemon who isn't fire type, the combination could be deadly.. Or if Charizard used a combination which isn't fire type..
