The final meeting before the tournament was already begun... It was necessary for all of them to be ready to face any consequences and problem in future which were going to be there.. Many of them... Battling school won't play around and with the list leaked to them by anonymous sources the meeting was scary...
Gary Oak, for the first time felt like playing among us and being the imposter in the meeting looking around like a kid lost in walmart searching for someone to save him... Eyes darted back and forth on the door again and again and after a whole 10 minutes his heart biggest desire came true... May and Dawn were here finally...
"Hey Gary... I didn't expected you to come here.."
"Expected? I wasn't even informed this idiot would be here.." Dawn slammed the stack of paper over his head who slapped her hand away now changing his seat near those two...
"I didn't too.. But after Paul kicked my ass again and Calem blackmailed me saying don't you have a sense of duty toward your last school, here I am.. That guy scares me..." Gary shivered holding his arms looking at Calem who sat down on his seat waiting for all the top 15 trainers to come here...
In a span of fifteen minute everyone arrived at the meeting room and sat on their respective position with only one exception which Gary expected... Ash wasn't there.. All of them waited for the main person to arrive engaging in small talks.. Yawning lightly he placed his hand over his mouth looking at May from the corner of his eyes...
Marnie sat down next to May when she played her cards.. May suspected a lot.. The cameras being closed a lot of time, Ash's subtle hint of hating Marnie cause she was using him, Paul's and her regular interactions despite not being in same class.. She knew they were doing the same thing she and Dawn wanted to do... And thus she allowed them to take lead...
"So, found a clue on the twin sisters?" May asked Marnie who flinched visibly... She squeezed her eyes shut wondering how May found it but maybe it was expected...
"I don't know what you are upto or anything but if there is something we can help with.. Do tell us. That idiot over there is good with it.. I don't care what you do but if it means Ash will be happy then be it..." She motioned to Gary.. Marnie's hand went to her device shoving it in front of Gary who looked at it.. Account numbers and name...
"We need details on them.. We just found they are controlled by these two companies and nothing else.. The third one, we couldn't find a clue.. You have any idea.." Marnie asked Gary who looked at the name of the two companies...
'Aren't these two merger and daughter company of Ketchum corporation and his mothers company.. Does that mean they are still in control somehow'
His train of thought ran for a second thinking of any possible outcome... Marnie's gaze lingered onto him like a hawk waiting for answers.. The money transfer was absurd...
