"Hey, do you mind if i burn you down.."

It was a neutral sentence but the pressure it held was otherworldly.. Dawn was sure she had never heard this much praise for Ash ever in her life. At least from girls who called him creep.. Blinking mildly in surprise looking at the completely destroyed battlefield in front, Charizard decided to do the courtesy of flying the dust away, ignoring a pain in its wings..

Slowly flapping the wings and making the dust fly away using hurricane both Ash and Charizard looked at the burnt Dragonite slowly hovering centimetres above ground trying its best to stand its ground.. Charizard flew away from the stray fire blast relased toward him in a desperate attempt to keep him away from getting close to him by inches..

His muscles ached like hell begging to stop, endless pain surging down his body forcing him to crash on the ground.. Now, this won't be a aerial battle anymore, both of their wings were damaged to a good extent..

The higher the pokemon went to the sky the difficult it become to handle the gravity pulling their weight down.. And considering the injuries the two have sustained on their wings, this battle was soon to be over..

"Dragon claw.." Forming yet another dragon claw the dragon flew toward the Dragonite who rose his guard seeing it, the first pokemon to make him feel desperate for years.. The Charizard ignored the stinging feeling of the blood flowing down its mouth focussing on the pokemon in front of them looking at it's claws..

"Thunder punch.." Charizard saw the crackling thunder punch travelling toward him seeing for any opening.. None. It was a two way road, he takes the thunder punch while the Dragonite take the dragon claw. He tried to stay as close toward the ground raising his talons as hard as they could hitting the Dragonite with a full powered draconic upper cut sending him into air tossing him away while the thunder punch sent him on the ground..

He crashed on the ground causing a impact to be formed with electricity crackling on its body surging down from its head horns to its tail which slowly died down after using overheat..

"Come on.. We are so close Charizard. Just one more time.." Ash yelled out, the fire starter slowly placed both of its arms on the ground again trying to push his body up remembering all the training he did with Ash.. Despite being a arrogant dragon Ash never left him placing his expectations on him...
