Inactive in Community

Just to inform, I've been in this beautiful poetry community @_poets_ since a long time like it's been more than an year now. And i loved to be the admin and help other poets and do all the things here, from making Gossip club contents and minigames, talking to ppl, to finding and brining more ppl into the community, to poetry quests, announcement post articles and quotes, and designing cover & banners for most of the books here. Since last many months, I've noticed all the other admins had disappeared from the community due to personal life related things, their exams etc.

I understand reasons of BrokenWriter01 and StarSmoke for being inactive since long, they've done a lot back earlier, but for the other admins who left the community without informing, i think it's kind of very impolite and improper of them suddenly going away leaving all the work to a single person to handle for months. Well we all have our life and i think they could have a bit of time not like they've no free time for their own community even once in a month. I've been trying to handle everything alone as much as i can but it's not easy to do this, the new admin as well went on hiatus as soon as she was recruited. I'd suggest ppl to not take any position if they can't handle it at all. Sorry to say, but i really am disappointed by many of the other admins here who literally have no time to even respond within a few dats or do anything for the community just coz they've an exam the next year or in a few months even i too have right!? The fact I'm so online here neither means I'm bad in my academics neither means am i without any exams, problems in life. My health is in a real bad condition, I'm in severe depression as well, I've ppl whom i have to give time too as my virtual friends, but that doesn't means I've no free time for the community right? I try to take out some time once or twice a week for the community to do all what i can. Sorry if it offends any of the admins/founders who were being inactive for long.

But now i think, I'll too be inactive here in wattpad for a while thus not available in the community as well and it might be a bit inactive without me. I'm pretty very much tired of social media and kind of unmotivated these days.

I heard that this amazing @PoetsPub community which hosted so many cool contests etc is being closed down too. I'm sorry to hear this. And i hope they'll get back active again someday, their community is one of the best here. So, like Bill, founder of PoetsPub who is leaving wattpad too, i too have a similar reason, as being discouraged due to lots of toxicity, lack of genuine readers or ppl interested in poetry these days, lack of any motivation to write due to many reasons, hate, judgements, cyberbullying and drama from various ppl and altho I stayed for more coz of some ppl wanting me here or for the sake of community to keep working like always. I think i would like to take a leave from the community for a while at least.

Without me it would get kind of abandoned so, i hope our founder will find more admins for this community so that it doesn't stays inactive in my absence and i hope exams etc is over for StarSmoke so that she can be active again here. If anyone's interested to be admin, and willing to take some work even once in a week but properly and regularly would be enough. Do pm me here while I'm somewhat active for a few days/weeks in my main account. I'll add them into the community if anyone. All the details can be discussed personally, if u want dm me at ArzRyan asap.

Take care and have a nice life ahead you all, stay hydrated and safe. Keep writing and ALSO, supporting each other and ppl who are having lack of readers. There are many people who write or want our community to spread their works and expect to get more readers, but have no time to read or support other readers. To them as well, I'd like to say they should start supporting other poets as well rather than limiting their presence to merely asking for support. Like many times we post some important updates of poems for other poets but rarely we see anyone who reads the poems or the ppl who go to the person's acc to check their books are so few. Like there are for example Poets A, B and C. Poet A wants Poets B and C to read his poems and give review. Poet B is ignorant and wants only her own poems to get views and doesn't cares about others. Poet C reads and appreciates work of both poet A and B, but when he wishes to get her book read by them. Poet B refuses and Poet A makes it a "deal" saying he'll help only if he gets help back. Like this many ppl are turning support to either one sided or a business kinda thing. While it could have been a mutual healthy support by doing it by own free will and interest from both sides.

And so many members don't even see any of the updates or posts here. And many of the gossip club content i created for the members too go unnoticed. It really saddens me to see ppl focusing on their benefits so much they forget to help others in this. I'd like such ppl to not be confiscated within self benefits and start trying to take out a bit of time to read and appreciate works of other fellow poets too here for a better supportive environment for all.

Well, i had a lil idea. Even if the community is inactive for a while, you can surely find many poets thru our collection, Members' Lists in About Us book and reading lists. If anyone wants they can post their Poetry book reading request in the MB of community for others to see till we're active again to promote poems from our posts/books <3
