We've checked in, gotten dressed, and were told all the rules and regulations, as well as taught how to use our paintball guns. The employee is still talking, but I'm barely paying attention at this point. I'm antsy, I want to get out there and shoot some shit.
Despite the man teasing about some of the hidden areas amongst the course, I feel a hand on my ass and Zayn's presence at my back, his breath hot against the shell of my ear, "I never thought I'd be saying so, but you look fit as fuck in tactical gear."
I lean into his body, biting down on my lower lip.
He looks pretty damn good, too.
We're set up in two teams—Zayn, myself, and James versus Chase, Jin, and Nadia.
Nadia was supposed to stay with the bridesmaids, but she really didn't want to do the spa day. It didn't bother Zara either way, so she's spending the day with her sisters at the spa while the rest of us are going to go paintballing followed by go-karting. We'll get to see the rest of the girls later tonight during the party where I'm sure they'll be rested up nicely.
Chase originally wanted Zayn on his team, however, he didn't want me on his team like the dick he is. I think he just wants to be able to shoot at me, in all honesty.
The thing is, though, Zayn refused to be on the opposing team from me. I'm not sure why though.
The way this is set up, they start either team on opposite sides of the arena so that we can meander across the open space to find our enemies.
